Hiii, my dear friends, I am back with spooky card today... with Halloween all around, I thought it will be so not fair to not make a spooky card ;) And there are few challenges that gave me just the right inspiration.
I was inspired by the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Spooky scene, by CAS-ual Friday's CFC 116 - Sequins & Chevrons, by the colors at Runway Inspired Challenge RIC #45 - Tanya Taylor and by The Friday Mashup - Let's cut it up challenge.
I don't know if all of you can see it or not but while I was pondering over the inspiration photo at Curtain Call... I saw chevrons in the spider web and there you go, I created this card...
To make this , I used a scale n a pencil to create my spider web, I then used a black Sharpie marker to make the web. I used an X-acto knife to cut in between the web inspired by Friday Mashup. I added a colored strip behind the web to match the colors at RIC. I decided to turn my sequins into the spider. The legs and eyes of the spider were hand drawn. Finally, the sentiment was written :)

ReplyDeleteYou have blown me away, Deepti! Not considering all the challenge tie-ins, this is a super card. Having a section of a spider web be different colors (that AREN'T rainbow) is so eye-catching and wonderful. But then you have this for a chevron challenge ... of course, there are chevrons in a web. So flippin' smart!! I wish I had thought of it : ) And I'm not even gonna mention the sequin spiders and how neat those are. Crazy-cool card. So very glad you joined the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!!
