For more details on the challenge... please click HERE.
Now to our challenge, and my card...

To make this, on a panel I did some two tones inking and some stamping (using Inkadinkadoo dots n flourish stamps) and some ink splatter, I used MFT feather die set to cut out 2 feathers one in black n another in glitter paper. I cut across the glitter feather n added it on the black feather, punched some butterflies and adhered it all on card base. Sentiment is from Paper sweeties.

There is a lot more inspiration from out DT, head over to our challenge blog to see :)

I die cut the leaf (using Nestabilities foliage dies), punched the flowers (using Picture punch from Darice). Then inked these using colors from Color Q challenge #230. I made a twine by curling a think strip of card stock around a pencil. Adhered all the elements on card base n stamped the sentiment in Archival Black ink.

Color therapy continues...

Hello my sweet friends, I am back with two more cards and I have incorporated colors yet again. It always feels good that we can incorporate so many colors into our lives through our hobby, its therapeutic :) To add on to the color note at Fascinating Friday's - Paperie Design Studio, we have featured Kimberly Wiener of Wienerhoneymooners... you can see the feature by clicking on Kimberly's Kreativity. I am a big fan of her bright, colorful n bold creations :)

So my first card is inspired by the amazing colors at Color me #8 - Color me subtle!, I love the colors they bring out in every challenge. I used the sketch at Seize the sketch #14 and since it has a flower I am playing for The Card Concept #4 - Use a floral theme. So here's my card...
To make it first I embossed a circle using my Sizzix die on the card base, then I scored within the circle with my Martha Stewart score board :). I took another panel and lightly inked it up with Distress tumbled glass and Memento Bamboo leaves, over it I added a splatter of water. On the right side of the panel I added a pattern paper (from DCWV - Basics Stack) to match the color in the challenge. On this panel I stamped the sentiment (from Martha Stewart set). I heat embossed a flower (from Garden set - Michael's) on a vellum using Versamark ink, Whisper - opaque embossing powder and adhered it to this panel, I added a ribbon n a knot on the panel and adhered it on the card base with foam dots. To finish the card, I added some more pearls :)

My second card was inspired by the theme at CASology Week 83- JUMP, the sketch at CAS(E) this sketch #65 , the colors at Color Q #229 and Seize the birthday - Anything Goes with a topping of heart. So here's my card...
I made a mask for the landscape by hand drawing n fuzzy cutting it. Then, I inked it up. I hand drew the springs to match the sketch and did some stamping with leaves n mushroom using (Recollections hello friend set), Inks used are a mix of hero arts n Memento. I stamped the hedge hog on another piece of paper, colored n fuzzy cut it. Then I adhered it on the card base and hand drew the dash lines to show him jumping over the springs :)

Adventure awaits...

Oh yes!! It's Sunday and I am up with my post, if you know me u might notice I am usually off the charts on weekends but recently a great friend of mine sent a surprise Valentine gift which had these technique Tuesday stamps. They are so cute that I had to make a card :) I was inspired by CAS-ual Friday's challenge CFC 128 - LONG with a twist to make a farewell card. I loved the team at CAS-ual Friday's and since there term is over here is a card for them :) I was inspired by the colors at Color Q #128. Since this card is quite masculine, I will also link this up to Less is more Week 159 - Masuline and CAS on Sunday #27 Masculine :) So here's my card...
To make this card I stamped the road (using Technique Tuesday - Happyville Cars set) and the car on a separate card stock and fuzzy cut them. The trees (from AC blue skies set) n lamp post ( from Technique Tuesday Happiville - Wheelie set) were stamped on card base size of which is 3.5 X 7.5", then I created the sky with sponging , ink splatters and stamping stars (from My mind's eye - all is bright set) Inks used were Hero arts and as per the Color Q challenge :) Additionally I did some shading on trees using color pencil. Finally I adhere the road and car on card base.

Hope u like my card :)

ATCAS #32 - COFFEE

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is me and I am so very excited for that. I decided to go with the something that is a life line to keep us going, yep!! that's COFFEE. I am big fan of coffee and I'm sure many of you enjoy an early morning sip of a coffee. So why not bring some taste of coffee into our cards :) You can interpret the cue card in various different ways.... the color, coffee related stamps and what not. We also have brilliant Guest Designer Anni Lerche joining us back. Anni loves paper piecing and resist techniques. We know you'll enjoy seeing her designs!  You can see her projects by clicking here, Annikarten
Our winner will win digis from our amazing sponsors Bugaboo Digi Stamps, I am sure a lot of you just love there amazing n fun stamps :)

I went with the coffee beans, if the beans are not right... ur coffee will not be a perfect blend :) So here's my card...
To make this card, I decided to go with a shaker card with beans of course, I used Starbucks beans ;) I first added some coffee marks on my card base using an actual mug base and adding color to it. Then I added a strip of brown stripes patter paper (from Basics stack), over it I added a washi tape (from We are memory keepers). I then stamped the jar (from Recollections jar set) with Versamark ink n pearl embossing powder (whisper white)
I had to use Versamark as this is the new addition to my craft collection and guess who got this for me, my dear husband :D He is the best!! and yes that's my Valentine gift along with an awesome wrist watch. I am so very lucky to have me :) Okay back to my card... After stamping and heat embossing I fuzzy cut the jar and created a shaker as its done :) finally added some beans outside, which are rub-ons lying in my stash. Lastly, added a jute twine (from AC) n a wooden button (I bought this one from India) to finish my  card. Sentiment is obvious so I did not write it "Spill the beans!!"

I would like to enter this card for the CASology Week 82 - BOLD  (well!! Coffee is bold)

Our DT has come up with some amazing projects this week. Pop over to our ATCAS challenge blog here and take a peek. I am looking forward to the challenge this fortnight and am very excited to visit your blogs.

I also have another card to share :) and this one inspired by a few challenges... this one is a little unconventional as far as colors in a Christmas card are concerned but different is good!!

The sketch is inspired by Seize the Sketch #13 by the theme at Merry Monday #95 - Use an animal, by the colors at Sunday stamp Challenge #69 and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Get krafty!!

To make this card, I stamped n fuzzy cut the cute cat (from Penny Black - Hugs!!) the Christmas trees are freebies (from The Alley Way Stamps) which were printed and fuzzy cut,  the landscape is from Mama Elephant landscape die cut (sent by a sweet friend), the sun is a circle cut out using a Sizzix circle die. All the elements were colored with Sharpie Markers and stuck on card base after adding score lines. Finally, I wrote the sentiment n added the washi tape on two parallel edges (from Recollections)

Have fun in creating CAS card :) and thank you for visiting my blog.

Fusion #4

Hello friends!! time for another Fusion for you to create :) I am sure you all had enough of valentine cards and you must be willing to incorporate other colors into ur cards so this time we have a photo full of colors and life :) Now let us see how will you interpret our third challenge of the year!!
FUSION is a very interesting, it gives us a photo and a sketch, so possibilities are endless with the freedom given in the challenge. You can just work with the sketch or just photo but in my case as usual. I Fused the two. I was inspired by the colors in the photo and the sketch.
For my card, I adhered a pattern paper (from Basic grey - Hipster set) on the card base. Then on another piece of white cardstock I did some stamping (from PTI - Ruby reprise clear stamps) by masking as a technique. Inks used were Memento - Rose bud, Angel pink, Bamboo leaves and Hero arts - Butter bar, Bundled sage. I then fuzzy cut this panel around the flowers. The yellow flowers were stamped separately and adhered using foam dots. Sentiment was stamped from the same set.  Finally I adhered this panel over pattern paper base using foam dots and added an embellishment of wood veneer flag ( from Freckled fawn) and a twine (from The Twinery). I also did some distressing all around the edges which finishes my card :)

There is a lot more inspiration available for you by our lovely team. Go and check out :) Also, for more details about the challenge please visit Fusion Card Challenge

Well, my post doesn't end here as I have another card to share :) couldn't resist making it
This one is inspired by the sketch at Retrosketches #101, the colors at Color Me #7 - Striking! and by the Shopping our stash #138 - Oh Shiny !! challenge :) and since this card has a bit bold flower with bold color, I will link this up to CASology Week 82 - BOLD. Yeah !! I know I am good in combining challenge or let's just say I get lucky all the time ;)
I hand drew and cut out these parallel vertical lines on my card base using an exacto knife to match the sketch. Then I cut out the leaves and petals from another card stock using my Spellbinders Foliage dies. I inked up each petal with a mix of Hero arts - Raspbery Jam and Memento - Grape jelly ink to achieve the desired color. Then I inked the leaf with Adriondack pool ink and adhered all the elements on card. I added gem stones in pool color purchased from a local craft store. Sentiment is from Paper sweeties :)
