I am back with cards that are completely different in the styles. My first card is inspired by a card from Sandie, her blog London days. She is an awesome crafter and a more awesome friend :) Inkspirational#53 is having a Case inspiration challenge and I had to case one of my favorite Sandie's card. Yes, I added my own angle of inking :)
To make this I masked off the panel, just the way Sandie did in her card using some post it notes, then I did some heat gold embossing, followed by emboss resist distress inking. after removing the mask, I adhered another butterfly and stamped the sentiment.I am also linking this up to the following challenges Color Me #14 - Monochromatic and The Card Concept #7 - Use a butterfly theme
Supplies used - Stamp Martha Stewart - butterfly and all occasions sentiment set, Distress inks - Mustard seed, Spiced marmalade and Barn door, Versamark ink, Ranger super fine Gold embossing powder
My second card which is more rad and modern was inspired by the Sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #71, by the Card Challenge - Card with stars (Northridge Publishing) and by the colors at Color Q #235
I did some inlaid die cutting and layering to create this card. I did some squiggling to finish the look on my card. The stars were inked. I am also linking this up to Simon say's stamp Monday challenge - Anything Goes!!
Supplies used - Stamp CAS-ual Fridays - Wait for it, Dies - Momenta star dies, The banner - Mama elephant n vellum arrow - Little inkers, Inks - Hero arts Shadow inks - Fresh peach, Mint Julep and Raspberry Jam. Sequins - from my stash which were purchased in India
Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)
