STAMPlorations Spotlight - Coloring one stamp with another!!

Hello friends! Today I am up with a spotlight project over at the STAMPlorations blog. This is my 24th spotlight feature and I hope I will be able to inspire you.  I am showcasing a step by step process to make this card, the idea is to use one stamp to color another :) fun and super easy!

CASEing Kelly Blog Hop!!

Some of you must be wondering who is Kelly??!!?? and most of you already know her for her gorgeous floral, bright, bold and colorful creations... Yes!! I am talking about Kelly Latevola of You and your big dreams blog :) A few months ago, she started out this amazing feature on her blog called "CASEing Genius" and she has invited tons of awesome crafters, interviewed them, shared their gorgeous cards and most of all CASEd their creations into her master pieces...

So, the idea for this CASEing Kelly Blog Hop originated from the feature done by Kelly and it was master minded by fabulously talented Marika Rahtu of Me and minime crafting. She brought together all the awsome crafters who were featured by Kelly and now we are ready to roll in reverse, meaning... each one of us will pick 3 cards from Kelly and CASE them into one :) Sounds like fun!!

So I decided to go with water coloring inspired by first, the design layout from the second card and the theme and color scheme from the third card to make my CASE :) Here is my card....

So let me show my fourth inspiration card for the month of October...

To make this card,  I used Shery Russ Designs - Yuletide Cheer and an old set Oh Christmas tree This time the focus was creating whimsical winter scene with patterned papers:)
All I did was some die cutting to create now hills (using PPP Stitched Border -1 die), then I stamped and fuzzy cut the gingerbread house using a patterned paper and also cut out some triangles in blue patterned papers to create the trees. I also added some candies (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Party mates set) On the card base I stamped the snowflakes (using Vignette Christmas block) in pink and adhered all the elements together to finish my card.

ATCAS #75 - Spooky

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is very talented Ceal and she has chosen the code word... SPOOKY. This is just the right time to get spooky and for me it was so much more fun as I couldn't get around creating a Halloween card yet :) I would also like to welcome our Guest Designer Joyce of Cards by the sea. She creates amazing cards, you will always fins a ton of inspiration at her blog :)

I wanted to a really spooky card and I had just the right stamps for it :). Here's my card...

 

To make this card,I emossed the skull from STAMPlorations Boo! stamp set on a water color card panel which was die cut using SSS stitched rectangle dies. Then I stamped the text BG using STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements set and water colored it in black. To finish the card I added the sentiment and and did some spritizing :)

To make this card,  I used Dee's Artsy Impressions - Frames and Flowers. This card is a pure stamping delight. All I did was to use various stamps to create my BG and then I added the sentiment along with a die cut heart to finish my card :)

Here is my card using this set...

To make this, I adhered a patterned paper pnale on card base. I then took a water color card stock and stamped the flowers, stems and leaves in Archival Black ink, then I water colored these. To finish the card, I added a scalloped pattern paper strip and and kraft strip and some twine with a sentiment tag. Here is my card using this set...

To make this, I stamped and fuzzy cut the image and then colored it with Spectrum Noir markers. On the card base I did some Inking with Distress Mustard seed, Wild honey and Brick red inks and did some water stamping with Mixed media elements stamps. I then added the stamped panel and finished the card by stamping the sentiment. Here are my cards using this set...

To make this card, I did some water color wash on the base panel, once it was dry, I did some stamping with the sentiment to create a subtle BG. I then stamped, colored and fuzzy cut the image and adhered it on base panel. To finish I added PPP sparkling clear sequins :) I am sharing this at The Daily Marker 30 day coloring Challenge and 613 Avenue Create #146 - Anything Goes!

and now my second card...

To make this, I stamped and fuzzy cut the image along the front panel. I then colored it with Spectrum Noir markers. On the card base I did some Inking with Distress Bundled sage and added some Delicata ink gold splatter on front panel. To finish the card, I added the sentiment. So let me show my second inspiration card for the month of October...

To make this card,  I used Shery Russ Designs - Yuletide Cheer and an old set Oh Christmas tree This time the focus was creating a nice and cold snowing winter scene :)
All I did was some stamping and water coloring with distress inks. I also sprinkled some wate to create my snowflakes and added additional dots with a white gel pen.

ATCAS #74 - Sparkle

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is very talented Sarah and she has chosen the code word... SPARKLE. Who doesn't love the sparkle :) so what are you waiting for get your sparkle on and play along :)

I wanted to stick with the Christmas theme as I am building up my Christmas stock :). Here's my card...

 

To make this card, I created a window (using SSS Double stiched rectangle dies) and on the card base I did some inking and stamping to create a bokeh scene (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Christmas Bell Medley set and Vignette Retro Mod shapes) The dots were stamped in Delicata Gold ink. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment and also added some sequins and acetate to my window.

So let me show my first inspiration card for the month of October...

To make this card,  I used my Dee's Artsy Impressions - Chritmas Bell Medley again. This time the focus was creating a nice and cold winter scene :)

All I did was some inking to create my blue sky on the panel. some stamping of the pine needles in shades of green. I also applied some embossing paste to create the snowfall using a Heidi Swapp stencil. Then to add interest I masked and stamped the bells, colored them and adhered them after fuzzy cutting with some foam dots. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment.
