Guest Designer at Paru's card making challenge

I am super excited to be the Guest Designer for Paru's Card making challenge :) Her challenges are fun to play and run from 1 to 25th of each month :) So you will have plenty of time to play along.

The Story board for this month is FAMILY

 

There are also prizes to be won and I am also super excited to be one of the Sponsor's. I am giving away the Anchored Stamp set from my Stamp line Dee's Artsy Impressions :) Here is a look into the set...

The other sponsor for this challenge is Peek-a-boo designs :)

I decided to make the card and a tag from the same stamp set coz it works beautifully with the theme.
Here's a look into my card and tag...

I wanted to make a coordinating tag for my card :)
Here is how I made my card, I embossed the images on a water color card stock and the watercolored the background in shades of blue using Gansai tambi water colors. To finish the card I added a die cut heart from my stash.

To make my tag I diecut two tags, on the front tag, I attached a stripes patterned paper and a string of diecut hearts (from Mama Elephant). I then stamped the anchor and sentiment, colored it with Prisma color pencils :)

It was fun making and coloring these cards. I did both of my favorite things, watercoloring and Prisma pencil coloring :) Here is a closeup...

To make this card card, I stamped the images doing some masking, then I colored these using Prisma Color pencils. Finally, I adhered this panel on striped patterned paper . I have used Balloons and banners , Party Mates and Kathryn's Big wishes

ATCAS #93 - Welcome

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is fabulous Bhavana and she has chosen the code word... WELCOME. Here's my card...

To make this card, I took the Mama Elephant Nursery Deco set and stamped the ball multiple times doing generation stamping and everytime I did this, I masked the previously stamped image. Next I colored and adhered a strip of patterned paper to finish my card :)

This time I decided to make a simple OLC, here all I did was a noline Prisma pencil coloring. For that I stamped the image in Distress ink Antique linen . I have used Friends and Flowers stamp and Fond Expressions - 2

Let me show you my second Inspiration card for July 2016...

This was an easy card to make. I took a patterned paper with candles and adhered it on my card base. I took another water colored patterned paper set and die cut the balloons, I then stamped the same color of confetti in each balloon. Added some twine for the strings and stamped the sentiment on black card stock. I have used Kathryn's Big wishes stamp and coordinating dies, Balloons and banners set.

ATCAS #92 - Stripes

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is me and I have chosen the code word... STRIPES. A super fun codeword with numerous possible interpretations... I love adding stripes on cards, they add a touch of elegance to your project :) I would like to welcome our fabulous Guest Designer Julia of Just one more card blog. Here's my card...

To make this card, I took the striped patterned paper, diecut thanks and the stitched edge from it. On the card base I did some floral stamping and adhered the striped panel on it. I have used, STAMPlorations Thanks word die, MFT Stitched snowdrifts die, Frames and flowers stamp set.

Today, we are showcasing the Word dies, I chose the word thanks and here's what I made :)

To make this card, I stamped the flower and leaves and did some no line water coloring using Distress inks. Once colored and dried, I diecut the thanks sentiment and layered it multiple times and laid it back in place. I then added this panel over the card base along with the patterned paper. The stamp used is from Blooming Buds

I am sharing this with Time out challenge #60 - CASE Therese Calvird, I am a big admirer of her and had to play along :)

To make this card, I took he shoe stamp (using Groovy Shoes) masked and stamped and remasked these to create a rainbow colored inked background :) love this set. The design of the shoes in this set is stunning :)

CASEplorations July 2016 - Elina Stromberg

It's time for CASEplorations inspiration post at STAMPlorations. On the fifth of every month, the STAMPlorations girls share CASEs of some of our favorite cards - maybe even one of yours. Here is my card...

I started out by die cutting the luggage tag die and inked it with distress inks. The I did some water stamping of the wedding cake some text stamping and the wedding rings on it. the Bride and groom were stamped, watercolored and fuzzy cut. I adhered these on an embosse panel to finish my card :)
I have used Luggage Tag Nesting dies, Newlyweds and Newlyweds Extras

Today, we are showcasing the Luggage Tags Nesting dies, and here's what I made :)

To make this tag, I stamped and colored the flowers with Prismacolor pencils, then fuzzy cut these

I cut out the luggage tag in watercolor card stock and watercolored it to create the sky for the background of my flowers. I also created a framed tag to go over the bigger one by adding vellum, just to add more interest. The stamps used are Floral bliss and Fond Expressions - 2.
