25 Days of Christmas Tags 2016 !

Every Year Tracey McNeely of In my creative Opinion Blog organizes this fabuous event "25 Days of Christmas Tags". where each day a company brings a load of Christmas Tag inspiration. Today on the final day of the event, STAMPlorations and the team is showcasing their products through Christmas Tags.  

Here is the tag I created :) 

I cut of the tag, and a frame for the tag using nesting dies. O also added acetate on the frame. On the base, I heat embossed the sentiment and the houses. Then I inked the background using Distress ink. I added sequins and layered the frame on top. Then I added the little Kathryn's image with a string of lights after coloring it with Spectrum Noir marker.

I have used Luggage Tag Nesting dies, Kathryn and Christmas and Houses stamp set.

ATCAS #102 - Congratulations and a fond Farewell !

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is awesome Jaydee and she has chosen the code word... CONGRATULATIONS. This challenge is really special for us as we celebrate the 4th birthday of ATCAS :) So congratulations code word seems just right for it. 

Though its a day to celebrate but for me... I am happy but sad at the same time :( I have been with ATCAS for a long time, but I had to take this hard decision of stepping down. With my little one it is becoming harder to pull enough time out to commit to my DT responsibilities and hence I decided to step down. These has been the most wonderful creative years for me :) ATCAS was my first DT ever and I can still recall the disbelief I had when I saw Kylie's email. I can't thank her enough to give me this opportunity. And she has been the most wonderful Leader. I will miss you :( I am thankful for the awesome team I have worked with and Barb for organizing things so nicely for us all :)

Here's my card... I went with the news on the baby for my Congratulations card.

To make this card, I diecut a stitched panel and a cloud die. On the base panel, I did some soft inking using Distress inks. I stamped the birds, colored and diecut these too. I then put it all together with some foam dots. I have used ME Cloud die, SSS Double stitched rectangular dies and Tweet Love stamp set. For coloring I used Prisma Color pencils :)

To make this card,I heat embossed the image and colored it with Prisma Color Pencils. I then stamped the sentiment in white pigment ink and gave a chalkboard look :). I have used Oh so Grateful Stamp set, Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies

I am always drawn towards the white color of the pumpkins, so I thought I would make one on my card :) To make it I heat embossed the image on watercolor cardstock and diecut it with the coordinating die. Then I watercolored it. Next I diecut a frame and layered it all on a patterned paper with frames :) Here are a few more shots...

Here's my card...

This is a quick card, on a stitched diecut panel, I did some inking, water splatters and adhered the diecuts pieces sent by a sweet friend to finish my card :) Inks used are Distress Stormy sky and Black soot.

Let me show you the projects I made...

To make this card, I heat embossed the poinsettia on the kraft card stock. I took a red card stock and diecut the angled edge and Be Jolly diecut. I then layered this piece on Kraft base. To finish I added the holly wood veneer. Here is a closeup...

 

Next I made a Tag following the same color scheme.

Beside the new dies, I have used Holiday Sketches - Christmas Flower, Yuletide Cheer, Kathryn and Christmas and Be Jolly Word die

Let me show you my second Inspiration card for November 2016...

To make this card, I stamped the images using water resistant ink. I then watercolore dthe images and different color and colored the background in gold. For the sentiment I used the word die and diecut in gold foil paper.  I have used Kathryn and Christmas stamp set,Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies and Believe word die and Gansai tambi watercolors

CUTplorations November 2016 Challenge

I am here with "CUTplorations challenge" for the month of November :) I hope you will play along with us.All you have to do is create a project based on the inspiration photo and using die cut(s). You must use at least one STAMPlorations/CUTplorations product (there's always the free digi stamp from the Never Ending Challenge). Then link up to the gallery which will be open until 11:55 PM PST on the last day of the month. You must also share the challenge graphic and link to the CUTplorations post in your blog posts.

The DT will select three top picks from the gallery to receive a winner's badge and one random winner will receive her pick of any two of the CUTplorations word dies used by the DT in today's post. Sounds like fun and rewarding. You can link as many times as you want.

This months Photo is superb! I had so much fun with this new challenge.

Here is the card, I created inspired by this photo :)

 

I diecut the edge od the watercolor panel, stamped the bird and did some wet on wet watercoloring. Then I used the stencil and traced along the cuts of the leaves with gold gel pen. I also drew some detail lines on the leaves. To finish the card I layered the panel on patterned paper :)

Let me show you my first Inspiration card for November 2016...

To make this card, I stamped the sentiment mutiple times diagonally to create a background. I stamped colored and cut the boxed bloomsand assembled all the pieces together to finish my card.  I have used Faith Expressions stamp set,Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies and Prisma Color Pencils.
