STAMPlorations Sticker Monday - May 25th 2020

Hello friends! I am back with the special "Sticker Monday" posts. I will be sharing various styles of cards and also various ways you can use the Clear Stickers on your cards :) I am so loving the stickers. Every month, we'll draw one lucky crafter to win a $15 gift code -- randomly drawn from all comments left on the Sticker Monday posts at the STAMP blog for the month, as well as from my blog.

Today I am sharing how unique backgrounds can make these gorgeous stickers shine. I made three cards with same but unique designs. I have featured "Love is - Clear Stickers"

Let me show you the cards I made... For these cards, I wanted to make a focal piece with similar colors but a unique designs :) I worked with a small focal die cut panel and used pure and  simple stenciling on one, stamping on another and ink blending with ghosting on the third :)
Here is my first card...

Stenciling can look so amazing when the stencil is fantastic :) what do you think?!!!
Here is my second card...

As you know my obsession with Distress Oxide inks and they work great for solid stamping. I created a gradient with a combinations of inks using a butterfly stamp.
Here is my third card...
As you can see, here I simply ink blended and then used a stencil, sprayed it with water and stamped on inked panel to achieve the subtle effect :) To add more interest I added dry embossed backgrounds for my focal panels.

I hope you like the cards I created and that I inspired you to try stickers on your projects.

I have created cards featuring the recently released Coffee Stamps...

Here are the cards I created... for my first card, I started out by inking a white card stock panel with Distress oxide inks.
Once I did inking I did ghost stamping using a stencil. I added some pearl white splatter. For my focal image I heat embossed the cup and water colored it. Once dried I fuzzy cut the image and adhered it with some dimension.
To finish I stamped the sentiment. I have used Bloomin' Coffee and YouAll Blooms stencil along with Gansai Tambi Watercolors.

Here is another card I made featuring the second stamp set. Here too I inked the panel with few shades of Distress Oxide Inks.
I then made the masks of the masks of the coffee cups and did tone on tone masking for my background. I added some splatter and also stamped some mixed media stamps Mixed Media Grunge along the edges of the panel. For my focal image I used the same stamp and heat embossed it on black card stock.
I fuzzy cut the image and adhered it with some dimension. To finish I stamped the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed my cards, don't forget to visit STAMP blog for a look at all the beauties designed by my teamies and leave comment for extra prizes :)

STAMPlorations Spotlight - Father's Day Cards

Hello friends! I am back with another spotlight project over at the STAMPlorations blog. I hope I will be able to inspire you. Today I am making Cards with Father's day on my mind. I had that moment when a cool idea clicked my head, a fun way to create sun burst without using a stencil. I am not sure if anyone has used this before, 'coz so far I haven't come across anyone sharing it. Nonetheless, I am kinda happy with me :) So I created a couple of cards, let me show you...

I have used  Sweet and Sassy Dad

Let me show you the card I made... I am featuring one of the new square stencils and new clear sticker Doodled Tulips Stencil and  Inspirational #1 Clear Sticker respectively.
I simply inked the card stock panel through the stencil using a combination of Distress Oxide inks. The stencil is so pretty in itself you don't have to do much! But this time I got a little creative, I decided to fuzzy cut the upper part of the stenciled panel. I layered this on white panel where I added some scored lines :) To finish I added the sticker sentiment.
Here is a closeup of my card...

Let me show you the cards I made...
For my first card, I wanted to make a bright and happy birthday card. What could be happier than a sun burst. I used Distress oxide inks to ink up the sunburst made with masking. I then stamped and colored the focal image. Accented the background with splatter.
To finish I added the sentiment die cut using Skinny sentiments dies and for the wishes sentiment, I used Layered Watermelon set. For coloring I used Sharpie Markers :)

My second card is a simpler one :)
I used the gorgeous frame stamp and heat embossed it in gold on a water color card stock. I also heat embossed the sentiment to fit within the frame.
I then did some wet on wet water coloring using primary colors :) I also added some gold splatter for added detail. I then layered this panel on kraft base.

I hope you enjoyed my cards, don't forget to hop along and leave comments for a chance at the prizes. You can start HERE..

STAMPlorations Sticker Monday - May 11th 2020

Hello friends! I am back with the special "Sticker Monday" posts. I will be sharing various styles of cards and also various ways you can use the Clear Stickers on your cards :) I am so loving the stickers. Every month, we'll draw one lucky crafter to win a $15 gift code -- randomly drawn from all comments left on the Sticker Monday posts at the STAMP blog for the month, as well as from my blog.
Continuing my obsession with kraft card stock, today I am sharing cards I made using "New Day - Clear Stickers" for a trio of encouragement cards :)
Let me show you the cards I made... For these cards, I wanted to work with pink, blue and white color scheme on kraft card stock and use and outline image along with a solid stamp image.

For all my cards, I followed the rules of visual imagery... creating a visual triangle, keeping things in odd numbers, going off the edge. For the sentiments, I used stickers. I simply decided for a combination of sentiments for each  card and adhered them on white card stock. I then cut them into sentiment strips to adhere them on my stamped backgrounds.

Here is my first card...

Here is my second card...

I recently grabbed quite a few Distress oxide inks and they work great for solid stamping. If you don't have these, you can always work with pigment ink. I you don't have both I would say using white card stock instead of kraft is a better choice for dye inks. I also added interest by using some mixed media stamps.

Here is my third card...

As you can see that I adhered the sentiment stickers in unique style. Having sentiment stickers makes it easier :) Also, you can see the washi tape like addition along the edges, that also a sticker Artsy Geometric Backgrounds - Clear Stickers :) even though it's a background sticker, I cut it out to suit to my design needs :)

I hope you like the cards I created and that I inspired you to try stickers on your projects.

Besides the stickers, I have used the following Trendy Birds 2Trendy ButterfliesMixed Media Grunge, Bloom Sketches
