Crafty Meraki - August 19th 2020

Hello friends! I am back with my Crafty Meraki inspiration post. Today I have made a couple of cards using Altenew's Bergenia's Builder Stamp Set. The flowers in this set are simply gorgeous... be it the stem of flowers or individual flowers and I had to use both.

Let me show you what I made...
I had to use gold to compliment the beauty of these. So I embossed these stamps in gols on a water color card stock.
For my cards with individual flowers I did some masking to make it look more realistic.

For my coloring I used Gansai Tambi Watercolors. They are my all time favorite watercolors to work with. I do always mix colors to get the exact shade I want :)

Here is a final look one more time. This set is incredibly versatile, I will share more ideas later :)

I hope you liked my cards!

SPELLBINDERS Sparking Christmas Collection - August 2020

Hello dear friends! I feel so thrilled to be guesting with Spellbinders again. Today I am sharing the cards I created featuring the newest Sparking Christmas Collection I absolutely love these die sets because they can be used in so many fun ways. I have created cards featuring the sets "Die D-Lites Jolly Ho Ho Ho Etched Dies" and "Christmas Ornament Border Etched Dies"

Let me show the cards I created :)

For my first card, I used the"Christmas Ornament Border Etched Dies" set. For all my cards I decided to work with three colors of card stock... warm grey, peach and cream.
Cards are simple to make, with die cutting and layering papers.

For my second set of cards, I used the  "Die D-Lites Jolly Ho Ho Ho Etched Dies" set. For my first card I focused on the HO HO HO sentiment while for the second card I just used the ornament dies. I also did some diagonal scoring for the grey background of my first card.

Here I combined the three different card stock for the color block background.

Here is are the products I used...  "Die D-Lites Jolly Ho Ho Ho Etched Dies" and "Christmas Ornament Border Etched Dies" For the sentiments I used STAMPlorations Yuletide Deer

I hope you were inspired by my creations. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)Don't forget to check out the new dies HERE

STAMPlorations Inspiration - August 4th 2020

Welcome to the STAMPlorations Inspiration post. We the inspiration team at STAMPlorations are here to inspire you with our creations using STAMPlorations products through these weekly inspiration posts and there is more to inspiration... We'll have a monthly random drawing -- 1 commenter wins a $15 gift code. Yay!! Inspiration team is sharing some super amazing projects

Let me show you my first Inspiration project for August 2020...
This time I decided to make a bright and happy anniversary card... I took a white card stock panel and inked it in a combination of Distress Oxide and regular Distress inks. I then took the stencil and followed the ghosting technique by spraying water on the stencil and placing it over the inked panel to get the desired background.  To add a focal image, I heat embossed the cake, fuzzy cut and water colored it. I used Better togetherWeaving and little hearts from Balloons and Banners stamp set.
