SPELLBINDERS - Make a Scene Collection February 2021

Hello dear friends! I feel so thrilled to be guesting with Spellbinders again. Today I am sharing the cards I created featuring the newest Make a Scene Collection by Becca Feeken  I made a couple of cards featuring the following products Cozy Home Scene, Wedded Bliss Scene and Filigree Façade Frame Etched Dies from this collection

Let me show the cards I created :) These products are so intricate and detailed, I loved making these little scene for my cards. They can be used in many different ways but I decided to use a simple color scheme and a simple design.

For my cards, I chose off white, baby pink and warm grey card stock. I die cut various elements of these dies and put them together to build the scenes. For my home card, I made the sun burst by simple masking technique.
Here is a close up...

Unfortunately my photos did not capture the exact colors of these but I think in real life this combination looks beautiful.

I hope you were inspired by my creations. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)Don't forget to check out the new dies HERE

Crafty Meraki - February 27th 2021

Hello friends! I am back with Crafty Meraki goodness. Today I am featuring a gorgeous stamp set “Fluttering Feathers” from Crafty Meraki. This is one of the sets from "Meraki Hugs" release. You can check out all the products HERE.

Let me show you what I made...
So for this card I clear embossed the butterflies partially on a green card stock. I then inked over it using shades of green and blue Distress Oxide inks. I also heat embossed the butterflies on vellum with white embossing powder. I then fuzzy cut those and layered them on my panel. For the frame I used a previously released Slim line die Timeless Frame Slimline die To finish I added the heat embossed sentiment strip. Here is a close up...

Hope you like this card!
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me some love.

Sharing one more card I made using the same set during the Meraki Hugs Release in January. I did not share it on the blog only on my Instagram Page earlier. Here I also used Crafty Wings Slimline Die and along with the stamp set.

Let me show you what I made...

So this stamp set has a wreath and some loose flowers. I decided to make use of those for my card. For the backdrop I used a previously released Slim line die "Bubble mania"   I die cut this twice from a kraft cardstock and glued them together to make some dimension. I took a watercolor card stock base panel and added Distress oxide ink "Bundled Sage" for a subtle effect. I then stamped and water colored the flowers and adhered them. Here is a close up...

Hope you like this card!

STAMPlorations Spotlight - February 18th 2021

Hello friends! I am back with another spotlight project over at the STAMPlorations blog. I hope I will be able to inspire you. Today I attempted something very different. While I was working on my Spotlight projects I was kind of losing my mojo. Nothing I thought worked out like I wanted. I tore 2 -3 projects before getting to this :) Yep! I do that, if I don't like a project... it goes straight to trash :D My previous projects involved stamping, so I decided to turn my thinking towards die cutting and that worked perfectly to my liking. I made a clean and simple pop up card using just two dies Circles All Over Texture Cover Plate and Flutter Zen 2 Layering dies. Let me show you...

So I decided to get into some Christmas card making. Winters and snow reminds me of that and that's what I have tried to recreate. Here is a simple card with some stamping, masking of the houses and water coloring. The trees are hand painted :) To finish I stamped the sentiment. I used Houses and  Kathryn and Christmas for sentiment.

Crafty Meraki - February 13th 2021

Hello friends! I am back with Crafty Meraki goodness. Today I am featuring another new super adorable stamp set “Home is where the heart is” from Crafty Meraki. If you have been following us on Instagram you might know that we had new release all through the month of January called the "Meraki Hugs" and a lot of new gorgeous stamps and dies were released. You can check out all the products HERE.

Let me show you what I made...

So this card is different, I was inspired by the Pantone colors “Ultimate gray and Illuminating yellow” although I did not use the exact colors, I was definitely inspired by the “illuminating” ;) I wanted to make a sunset in the backdrop of this cute house and how the light would make it glow in certain areas. Here is a closeup...

I began by stamping the image and then water colored the sun right behind the home. Simple water coloring where I kept the home and foliage gray with a touch of yellow for that glow. Loved working with this stamp set .

Hope you like this card!

Crafty Meraki - February 6th 2021

Hello friends! I am back with Crafty Meraki goodness. Today I am featuring some of the newest products from Crafty Meraki. If you have been following us on Instagram you might know that we had new release all through the month of January called the "Meraki Hugs" and a lot of new gorgeous stamps and dies were released. You can check out all the products HERE.

Let me show you what I made...
So this card took birth out of another card I made during the release, scroll down to see that card. I used the new Bar None Slim Line die in that card and the negative stripes left out from die cutting were took good to trash. So I decided to keep them and make the new card that I am sharing today.

I created a lattice using the stripes left from die cutting. Making that is easy, simply start by adhering two strips at a corner intersection and then repeating the process. Of course then I had to pair it with other goodies, so I picked up another of my favorite Slimline Dies "Dancing feathers" It adds a gorgeous detail to your layout. For the flower I used a previous released set called "One of a kind"

Hope you like this card!
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me some love.

Here is previous card I made using Bar none die along with "Magnificient Blooms"
I like the products when you can make the most of it!
