Finally, I cut strips of coordinating color card stock, stuck them overlapping each other and stamped the sentiment.

Keep your hopes high...

My "keep your hopes high" card is dedicated to those people who are always positive and continue to try even after failures :) I couldn't resist combing these three challenges to create this card.

This card is inspired by the theme HOPE at Casology challenge this week which led me to think about the sentiment n then the skyscrapers, the color scheme at Runway inspired challenge and the use of glitter at Pinspired challenge. I thought stars would be a perfect representation of shine that glitter emits :)

Butterfly flying to the top of highest building represents HoPe ;)
To create this card I hand drew the skyscrapers using a scale n sharpie marker. I punched butterflies, hand drew moon n star n cut them out. Added glitter to these n finally stuck them on my card.

I want to play this card for the following challenges -

1. Casology week 37-hope

2. Runway Inspired ric#32-moschino cheap and chic

3. Pinspired challenge #6

Hope u enjoy my card :)

You raise me up...

My "You raise me up..." Card is for my mother :) who has always been there for me in all thick n thins of my life. She is the best and I miss her so much. It's been more than a year that I have met her... and I definitely am planning to meet her this year itself. I love you mumma :)

As always, I have tried to combine multiple challenges to create this card .
My source of inspiration are the sketch from Freshly Made sketches (which I have reversed to fit my idea), the cue- SONG at Casology, the theme- BIRDS at Papercraft star, the color challenge at the Color Throwdown , No stamps challenge at CAS-ual Friday's and mother's day card at Dream valley challenges :)

The song I selected is "you raise me up..." By Josh Groban, one of my favorites and the lyrics suit perfect to express my feelings towards my mom.

The lyrics of the song goes as follows ...

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

To make this card, I hand drew the tree branch, nest and birds. Colored these with my crayola markers and stuck them on the white card stock. Finally added the sentiment :)

I want to play it for the following challenges -

1. CASOLOGY week 36 - SONG

2. Freshly made sketches 78 - Sketch by Jen M

Happy Anniversary :)

My "Happy Anniversary" card is yet another card for today, before I go into hibernation for two days to spend the weekend with my dear husband  :). I couldn't resist creating this card after being inspired by the colors at The Play date Cafe challenge, the sketch at CAS(E) this sketch! and the use of chip board at CAS-ual Friday's :) so here's my card ...

To create this card, I brought out my Black chip board flourish from my stash. Sorry, but I cannot recall the name of the company :( I coordinated it with a white card stock that had a similar flourish like look on it.
To make the flower I used my Coral colored card stock and cut layers of petals with my scalloped nestabilities dies, and center petal using my shapeabilities. I then stuck the petals one over the other using foam dots. Finally stuck the flourishes in a specific pattern to follow the sketch along with the flower and I stamped the sentiment.

Hello...

My "Hello" card is an inspiration from two challenges that remind us the beauty of the color green and how important it is in our lives. For me green is leaves and nature :) so I have tried to recreate the same. The two challenge blogs that inspired me in creating this are Papercraft Star and Just Add Ink

To make this card, I embossed my white card stock with a bamboo embossing folder from Darice. I then used my leaves stamp from Garden collection and stamped it on another white card stock. I then cut it out with my craft scissors and stuck them on the card. I also created a vertical green panel by cutting a window n sticking a green card stock from behind, just to brighten up the card.

I want to play this card for the following challenges -

1.Papercraft Star challenge-136 GREEN

2. Just Add Ink #157 - JUST ADD GREEN

Hope you enjoy my card.

Light up ur birthday...

This is yet another card for today. I just couldn't stop myself combining three challenges and create this card.

Making this card was easy. I used my marker pens and drew parallel lines at one end of the card creating a strip. I then embossed another card stock with my candles embossing folder by Darice, and cut out individual candles with strips and dots and stick them over. Finally added a line of spots. Added happy birthday sentiment to finish the card.

The color challenge at Color Q, the concept at Less is more and the theme from CAS on Sunday inspired me to create this card.

I want to play this card for the following challenges -

1.Color Q Challenge #180

2.Simply less is more week-110 Stripes & spots

3.CAS on Sunday #3- Happy Birthday

Hope u enjoyed my card :)

SUNSATIONAL...

My "SUNSATIONAL" Card is inspired by the three challenges :), Colors are inspired by this week's Crazy Amigo Challenge and the concept is inspired by the Card Creations week - Moxie Fab World

To create this card, I used a white card stock to make the sun by drawing a semi-circle and ray coming out of it. I then cut this out using my craft scissors and knife. The colors used in the background are my Faber Castle Pastels. I used different red orange yellow colors to create a gradient in shades and create my sun.

I stuck the cut out of sun over this colored card stock using foam dots and finally added the sentiment "SUNSATIONAL" from See love d's - little stamps.

The challenges for which I want to play this card are-

1. Moxie Fab World- Card creations Week - Ombre challenge

2. Moxie Fab World- Card creations week - Emphasize negative

3. Crazy Amigo Challenge -orange red yellow black & white

For a Friend...

My "For a friend" card is an inspiration from multiple challenges :) I love combining challenges, as it makes me think harder and more creative :)

To make this card, I used my white card stock and embossed it with my Cuttlebug using simple flowers embossing folder. I then used my Nestabilities die - Classic scalloped circle to create a negative space.
I also used Shapeabilities - Flower bouquet miniabilities to cut and emboss the four different colored flowers.
Finally, I added white ribbon and adhered the flowers and scalloped negative die on the card stock using foam adhesives. I embellished with rhinestones of corresponding colors.

The focus of this card is the sentiment "For a friend" and I have created this for my dearest friend :)

Check Mate...

My "Check Mate" card is inspired by this week's challenge at Runway Inspired Blog spot and this week's Pinspired Challenge :)

In making this card I am inspired by the colors in Runway challenged and by the words like BOLD & CONFIDENT displayed in Pinspired challenge. So to combine both these challenges I thought about the game chess where one player WINS over the other by Checkmate :). Hence, the color scheme and the sentiment showcase the two challenges.

I made the chess board by cutting a 3X3" White cardstock, then drew the grid lines and colored with by Sharpie Black marker to create a chess board. I then hand drew and cut the kings used in chess, stuck them with foam dots and finally added the sentiment :)

I want to play this card for -
