CAS-ual Friday's Stamps January Release - Day 1

Hello friends! Its a new release time at CAS-ual Friday's and I am super excited about this release as the stamps are oh my my!! so very amazing. Today we are giving sneak peeks into the Stamp set "Mwah", a set with awesome sentiments and gorgeous font. You will love it.
So here are my cards... I ended up creating two cards :)
To make this card, I took a white panel and stamped it with the sentiments in Delicata Gold ink. Next I die cut the XO and heart, created a small tag in red card stock. Stamped I love you (from CFS Love Notes set) and hung it all with some gold twine. I then adhered this panel with some foam adhesive. I am sharing this at AAA cards challenge #31 - GOLD and Simon Says stamp - Anything Goes!

To make this card, I adhered a blue patterned paper (from Heidi Swapp - Favorite things 6x6"paper pad) on card base. I took a white panel, cut it like the angled panel and stamped the sentiment in shades of pink, creating an ombre effect. Next I die cut the heart (CFS Shuffle Fri-dies) from this panel and adhered it with some foam adhesive on card base, To finish, I added sequins.

There are some amazing cards created by the Design team to check out by clicking HERE.  Don't forget to comment for your chance to win this set :) I will be back tomorrow with a couple of cards showcasing yet another fabulous stamp set and die :) Stay tuned!!

One stamp many cards...

Hello friends! I am back with another post, a long one ;) loaded with Christmas cards... Yeah! My card making is still on. I did not anticipate, I will run short of Christmas cards :D

In this post I have used one stamp and have created 4 Christmas cards with it. I have used STAMPlorations Holiday Sketches - Christmas flower. There is one extra card, that I made earlier and was unable to share. So here I go...
To make this I used Pretty Pink Posh borders 1 die and cut out 3 strips, Stamped the poinsettia twine and fuzzy cut and colored them in shade of green n red. Next I laid it all on card base after adding some gold ink splatter. Finished with sequins n sentiment. I am sharing this at Showcase your Style #4 - Sketch, Color Q #272, Christmas Card Challenge #2 - CAS and to my team leader Kylie's Christmas Card Challenge. Kylie is offering a fabulous prize of customized watermark & signature worth $40. You can check out the fab watermark she designed for me... absolutely the way I wanted. Here's how it looks...
So you have a chance to get ur own awesome watermark, link ur Christmas card HERE.

My next card is another fun, though it looks like it has multiple layers, it is just one layers with all inlaid together.
To make this card, I cut the lower end of the upper panel of the card, heat embossed the poinsettia in white and did some distress resist inking in shades of pink. Next I adhered a backing to finish the lower layers and inlaid them together after cutting them with PPP border dies. To finish the card, I added the sentiment and sequins. Linking this to Color Throwdown #323, CAS(E) this Sketch #104 and Stamping Royalty #259 - OLC

My third card is another fun design...
Here I crushed a kraft card stock panel to texturize it, layered it on another patterned paper. Gold heat embossed the poinsettia and adhered it all on card base to finish I added a twine and sentiment.I am sharing this with Sketch Saturday #340, Just Add ink #245, Cupcake Inspiration #291, A Gem of a Challenge #134 - Anything Christmas

My last design uses stencil and some stamping.
I stenciled the BG in blue to give a faded effect, Next I created a panel by repeated stamping the sentiment. Stamped, fuzzy cut and colored the poinsettia in red and adhered it on card base, To finish I added some twine. I am sharing this with City Crafter Challenge #242 - Christmas Color, Freshly made Sketches #167 and Curtain Call Inspiration challenge - Candy Cane

Now my final card...
This used the STAMPlorations Joyful set, I used some patterned papers for Paper piecing and designing this card. I am sharing this with Color Me #51 - Be Merry!, Jingle Bells Challenge - Anything Goes!, 613 Avenue Create #102 - Anything Goes and Simon Says Stamp - Winter Inspiration

Christmas Card Spree....

I am back!! And today my post is long as I went on a Christmas card spree :D I ended up making four cards. Why so many... well for one I have to send out the cards in family and two I bought some new stamps :) All my cards have snowfall as their theme. So here I go...
My first card is also a reminder for Mixed Media Card Challenge #6 - Home. Don't forget to play along. Here is a close up into my card....

To make this card, I inked the panel on one side to create the landscape and the sky using Distress inks. Then I stenciled the snow with stencil n embossing paste. I die cut the trees n stems, inked them. Took a cork house and adhered it all on the panel. I also added some embossing paste on trees n house to create the effect of snow. Next I added a strip patterned paper and kraft next to the panel to finish the card. I am sharing this at Virginia's View #10 - All things Distressed, Just us Girls Challenge #271 - Mixed media, Retrosketches #145 and Color Q #272

My next two cards use my new stamps. I have been stalking the Purple Onion Designs cuties for a while now and finally I bought a few of their adorable stamps. Here are my cards...
To make this one, I cut the panel at angles, did some masking n inking to create the snow hills, added embossing paste for snow. Stamped, colored and fuzzy cut the penguin and adhered the panel on card base with a red patterned paper below it. added the penguin with some foam dots. I am sharing this with CAS(E) this Sketch #103, Shopping Our Stash #181 - Red Alert, CASology Week #126 - Snow and Merry Monday #139 - Winter wonderland

My next card was a quick one and has the adorable fox from Purple onion designs :)
I inked the card base in blue, added embossing paste for snow. Die cut the grass with some patterned paper. Stamped colored and fuzzy cut the fox and adhered it all on the card base. I am sharing this with Muse #98 - Marion Vagg, Christmas Card Challenge #2- CAS, 52 Christmas Card Throwdown - Pick a previous challenge (I picked March theme - Christmas Animals)

And now my last card...
Here, I cut out two panels smaller in size from the card base. On the bigger panel, I stamped the plaid pattern, on the smaller panel, I die cut the cloud, stamped some snowflakes and sentiment. Adhered all the pieces on the card base. I am sharing this at Time Out Challenge # - Amy Wanford, AAA Card Challenge #30 - Plaid and City Crafter Challenge Blog #242 - Christmas Colors

ATCAS #54 - FAMILY

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is talented Shana and she has picked a wonderful code word for you... FAMILY. What a perfect code word for this time of the year, Christmas and holidays are all about family :)

Our winner will win an awesome prize from our amazing sponsors StampArt Designs. I am sure you love their digital stamps :)
Here's my card...
I had so much fun making this card. To make this card, I used the Paper Smooches Quote Tag dies to make my Polaroid frame by trimming off the extra edge from the tag. Next fun part was the family of owl. I used Hero Arts Li'l Hoot set. The stamp comes with a two owl big n small, to add another big owl, I stamped, masked n stamped. Next I fuzzy cut the this, colored it. For card base, I inked the panel in blue and heat embossed some stars with silver embossing powder. Sentiment is also a mix from the Hero arts Li'l Hoot and TAWS - Lighter than air set. To add to the fun, I hand drew the mustache on one of the owls :D. Sharing this at Muse Challenge #97 - Therese Calvird, Color Me #50, and Crafty Creations Challenge #278 - Something to die for
