STAMPlorations Designer Spotlight - Dee's Artsy Impressions (New Stamp set)

Hello friends! Its time for another Wednesday Special release hop at STAMPlorations and I am excited to showcase my newest stamp set "Kathryn Thanks Teacher" I have learnt so much from my teachers and not just them, there are teachers all around us. So this set is my tribute to some amazing people who taught me great lessons in life :)
Dee's Artsy Impressions

Let me show you the set first. This set has a good collection of sentiments along with a few images to make unlimited varieties of cards/ tags or even paper crafted gifts for your teacher. Look I ended up creating five cards and I have so many more ideas...
Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win this set :)

Let me show you the cards I created... this one is a very traditional design for a teacher theme card, chalkboard :) I simply did some white ink stamping on a black panel. Stamped colored and fuzzy cut the images and put it all together :)
My second card, was to challenge myself. I have tried my hands on building a scene :) involves a lot of masking and little bit of drawing which includes a pencil stand and the lamp. This was colored with Prismacolor Pencils.
No release of mine is complete without a water colored piece, so here is that one :) Simple stamping and then coloring with Gansai Tambi water colors.
For my 4th card, I wanted to play along some patterned paper that I have been hoarding. This simply involves putting together some images and the plaid patterned paper is giving the illusion of a table cover. The images are pencil colored and fuzzy cut.
My last card is yet another attempt towards building a scene. Here I created a class room. a lot of drawing to build the background but pretty simple. This was colored with Spectrum Noir Makers.
I hope you enjoyed looking at all the cards, be sure to visit the STAMPlorations blog for all the details. Besides the new stamp set, I have also used Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment.

PS : until October 2, all of  Dee's Artsy Impressions stamps and dies are 15% off -- no coupon needed...the discount is automatically applied in the shopping cart!)

Elegant Designs with Mixed Media Stamps!

Hello friends! I am up with a spotlight project over at the STAMPlorations blog. Though my experience and knowledge in Mixed media is limited but I am always attracted towards these stamps and look for ways in which I can use them on CAS cards, before I actually start to use them for Mixed media projects... Perhaps someday I will get there ;) So for this spotlight I have used the stamps as a part of my CAS elegant designs :)

Here is what I created...

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop 2017 and STAMPlorations !

Yay! It's time for Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I am sharing few of my coffee theme Fall cards as a part of STAMPlorations :) We have some amazing new stamps, including the TYPOGRAFIA series, I am absolutely in love with these.

Here are a few of my creations... I have kept the fall theme in all my designs in terms of the colors I picked :) and I have done my favorite water coloring in all of these.
For the above card, I masked and stamped the images in light distress ink and water colored them for a no line coloring effect. Once dried I stamped the sentiment on top.
For this card I followed the same concept and stamped the cup with the flower and water colored it. To give it a more distressed look, I inked the edges with white pigment ink along the borders after the panel was all dried. Finally I stamped the sentiment on top.
For this card, I stamped the images in a grid pattern and water colored those. I then followed the same concept as the previous ones to stamp the sentiment on top.
For my final card, I went a bit creative in my design. where in I made a little fall scene from the coffee spill by a combination of water coloring and stamping.

Here are the products I have used Coffee Happy, Oh, So grateful, Coffeecionado TYPOGRAFIA Coffee,  Rise and Grind, Before Coffee - TYPOGRAFIA Coffeee, Coffee Petites and Vignette - Tree silhouette and Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. For coloring I have used Distress inks and Gansai Tambi Water colors.

Hope you enjoyed mt creations, check on the STAMPlorations Blog for the new products and the prizes you can win. Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

Now let me show you the card and the tag I made :)
I had so much fun. Lately, my love for inking is back and that led me to make the rainbow backgrounds for these. To make these I drew some diagonal lines using a ruler and the masked off and inked the stripes in rainbow colors on both the card panel and the tag. Did some water splatters on top. Next I stamped, fuzzy cut and colored the images and put those together on the base. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment and added some clear sequins.

Here is a closeup into each of these..

I want to thank Paru again for having me over :) I hope you will play along and have fun ! Click HERE for more details
