Doodled Christmas Candles Cover Plate

For my first card, I decided to make the beauty of the die shine, I cut it out from silver foiled card stock and layered it on glittered charcoal patterned paper. To finish I added the sentiment strip at the focal point.

For my second card, I dry embossed the cover plate die on brown card stock and paired it warm winter images included a coffee cup and mittens, colored with Prismacolor Pencils. I have used Christmas Cookies & Cheer  [for the sentiments], Coffee Happy and Warm Hands, Warm Hearts

Now let me show you the phrase dies and the cards I created with it.

Christmas Blessings Phrase Die
I worked with neutral colors on this card and traditional colors for my second card :)
For both of the cards, I made similar designs, using different products, For the first one I used ornament die and for the second one I used a floral die to make my ornaments, I also cut out strips of glitter paper to build the background on my second card :) I have used Christmas Baubles #2 Layering DiesTrendy Spring Blooms Dies

For these two card I went with Christmas colors, I scored lines on blue card stock for my first card, added snow hill and winter images, I layered the sentiment die on red to add dimension.

My cards showcase the no line coloring on one with Distress inks and another one involves pure stamping :)
I stamped the line image multiple times on water color card stock with a light shade of Distress inks and then water colored it with Distress inks I then drew detail lines on the petals to add some depth and dimension. To finish I stamped the sentiment in black.

For my second card I went with grey card stock with a pop of red...
I stamped the solid image and line image with white ink on grey card stock, I then did red stamping for the berries and the ribbon. I added some white splatter and pearls to accent my design. To finish I stamped the sentiment.

Super fun! I so love Shirley's layering sets :)

Spellbinders - Holiday Die D-Lites Take 2

Hello friends! I am back with Take 2 of Spellbinders newest Holiday D-Lites collection and I have created a card using DIE D-LITES REINDEER ETCHED DIES and DIE D-LITES SNOWFLAKES ETCHED DIES 2018 HOLIDAY collection.

Let me show you the card, I created... I wanted to stick to traditional Christmas colors and make the reindeer the focal point.
To make this I took a white card stock panel and drew the sunburst using a ruler and a pencil. I then masked and inked them in Red Distress inks. I die cut the reindeer, did some inking on the edges to give some dimension and depth. I then layered the pieces to build the reindeer. Splattered some water on inked panel. I also added die cut snowflakes and finished the card with a sentiment.

These are the products, I used Die D-Lites Snowflakes. Die D-lite Reindeer and sentiment from CAS-ual Friday's Stamps ...

Spellbinders - Holiday Die D-Lites !

Hello friends! I am back with more Spellbinders goodness :) We all love Holidays season and now is the perfect time to build up your holiday greeting collection. Thank you Spellbinders for sending these goodies to help me kick start my holiday cards. Today I have the newest Holiday D-Lites collection to showcase and I have created a couple of cards using DIE D-LITES SNOWFLAKES ETCHED DIES 2018 HOLIDAY collection.

Let me show you the cards, I created... I wanted my snowflakes to shine so I die cut these using silver glitter card stock. For my first card I kept the tones neutral to make the snowflakes the star of the card.
To make this I took a grey card stock panel and embossed it with snowflakes. twice along the opposite edges. I also die cut some flourish using the Spellbinders Large Die of the month - Aug 2018 in white card stock. I then arranged it on white base as seen. I added some pearls for embellishment and silver heat embossed sentiment to finish my card. I also scored lines on card base for the lower edge.

My second card is more on the bright side. Making glitter paper the star.
To make this I took three colors of glitter paper and cut out stripes of varying thickness from each. I then adhered them on a panel diagonally. Once this was done, I embossed the snowflake. Here is the fun trick... I embossed and then place the silver die cut snowflakes in the embossed areas to give an inlaid look without actually inlaying it. In laid die cutting would have been really time taking for this one :D To finish I added this panel over a sliver strip at the base. Stamped the sentiment on vellum, added silver sequins to finish the card.

These are the products, I used Die D-Lites Snowflakes. Large Die of the month club kit - Aug 2018 and sentiment from CAS-ual Friday's Stamps ...

Hello friends! I am back with more Spellbinders goodness. Today I have a few more cards from their latest club kit "September 2018 Card Kit of the Month"you can find all the details about this fabulous club kit HERE

This kit comes with loads of products that you can combine to create quick, fun and fantastic cards. This kit includes card stock, 6x6 Paper pad, Epoxy stickers, Puffy foil stickers, Dies, Stamp set, Die cut shapes and a lot of embellishments. I did a post earlier HERE and today I am back with Take 2.

Let me show you what I made. This time I wanted to create a card using the stamp set included in the kit :)

To make this card, I did some stamping and my favorite water coloring to build the under water scene :) The water colors used are Gansai Tambi :)

Here, is an example of a card where I was inspired by the patterned paper for the colors.
I used the patterned paper and cut out the car, starfish using the dies and the card stock included in the kit. I then simply arranged it on the card along with embellishments like silver thread, foiled sticker and epoxy sticker.

Lastly, I made a summery card. I had to coz summer is about to end ;)
For this card, I cut out the scallop edge from patterned paper. I picked two Popsicle die cut shapes. On the base panel I did some ink smooshing to match the colors of the Popsicle. I then arranged it along with epoxy star stickers and foiled stickers. Fun and easy!

I had so much fun. I think this is an amazing kit that gives you a lot of possibilities.

Hope you enjoyed my creations. You can find all the details HERE

Spellbinders - CUPPA COFFEE, CUPPA TEA by Sharyn Sowell

Hello dear friends! I have been sharing loads of inspiration using some of the new products from Spellbinders for a while now. I feel so thrilled to be guesting with them and sharing all my creations. Today I am back to share a couple more cards showcasing the new CUPPA COFFEE, CUPPA TEA BY SHARYN SOWELL collection.

I love the combination of pinks/ velvet with beige/ brown. I wanted to work with these colors and incorporate them into my designs in two different ways :)

For this card I die cut the Blooming Brew die twice one in soft pink and another in beige card stock. I then layered those slightly offsetting one. I layered these on beige panel paired with a patterned paper that had similar color scheme (from Anna Griffin collection) To finish I added some sequins and die cut Tea sentiment.

For my second card, I took a kraft card stock panel and scored lines all across. I then die cut a water color card stock with the Blooming brew die. I then water colored with using Distress inks by simple rubbing it over inks on an acetate sheet. To finish I added some embellishments and coffee word die and stamped the sentiment (from Stamplorations Coffee Happy set)

Hello friends! I am back with more Spellbinders goodness. This time I am here to share my creations using their latest club kit "September 2018 Card Kit of the Month", you can find all the details about this fabulous club kit HERE

This kit comes with loads of products that you can combine to create quick, fun and fantastic cards. This kit includes card stock, 6x6 Paper pad, Epoxy stickers, Puffy foil stickers, Dies, Stamp set, Die cut shapes and a lot of embellishments. I have made quite a few cards... I still see me making many more cards with this kit. So, I'm guessing you will see a take two to this post soon :)

Let me show you what I made
This card combines a few die cut shapes, epoxy stickers and patterned paper. super quick and super fun. What do you think??? The die cut shapes included in this kit are so many that you can combine those to make many designs

Here, is another example of me combining just the die cut images and patterned paper to make a Dad card. Love how bright and happy this looks :)

For this one I used patterned paper, tore it to make the waves and then layered it with die cut images like the whale, light house, and boats. The sentiment is puffy foil stickers and bubbles are the sequins included in the kit. I have not used anything beyond this kit to make all my cards :)

Lastly, I made a card using the dies included in this kit. I so love it
For this card, I made a color block background with plain card stock in the kit. I picked my colors based on the patterned paper I chose for the car :) I then did die cutting and put it all together to make my fun card :)

I think these are all super fun. I had so much fun. I think this is an amazing kit that gives you a lot of possibilities. I will be back with some more cards... I still have to use that stamp set :D
