Let me show you the cards I created using the newest Dies...
This die is simply gorgeous, you an use it as is and pair it with inking or patterned paper. I decided to water color this one :) The die used is Shapeabilities Love Grows Etched Dies
I die cut this from watercolor card stock and water colored this using Gansai Tambi water colors . I the die cut a black fun foam for adding dimension and layered it on patterned paper [Amy Tangerine Plus one] I also added a few floral sequins to accent. Here is a closeup...

Next I made a set of cards, I used Die D-Lites Sun Face Etched Dies. I wanted to make a red hot sun so I decided to use alcohol inks [Adirondack Sunshine Yellow and Red pepper] and I inked the whole panel. Once dry, I die cut the sun and decided to pair it with blue patterned paper [Spellbinders Sunshiny Day] . I wanted to use the negative die cut too to I made two cards from one panel.
In  the negative space, I made a blue sun bursts by cutting patterned paper into triangular shapes. Also I added a white circle behind the sun face to add a touch of softness :)For sentiments I used stickers from the Spellbinders October Card Kit.

Lastly, I went with traditional inked background for this fabulous die Shapeabilities Sweet Letters Etched Dies I die cut this using black card stock and black fun foam for dimension.

I used a combination of Distress inks to ink the back panel. sprinkled some water and adhered the die cut on top. For sentiment I used sticker alphabets I had in stock. To accent it further I used Wink of Stella Glitter pen to glamorize the die cut :)

I hope you enjoyed my creations. Don't forget to hop along :) your next stop in the hop is the talented Tina Smith's Blog

Spellbinders - December Large Die of the Month kit

Hello friends! I am super excited to be playing with some new goodies from Spellbinders. I am showcasing their newest December Large Die of the Month Kit

This Kit comes with dies that will make for a fabulous Gate fold card, not only that you can mix dies to create a variety of designs. I have created a set of three cards to showcase three different styles you can achieve using the dies included in the kit. I kept the color scheme and theme the same :)

For my first one I made the sentiment die cut as my focal by cutting out a window through corrugated paper and accented the design by adding a patterned paper scalloped edge at the bottom edge.
Here is another look..

For my second card, I used one of the layering die cut to make the lower corrugated edge and accented groove with flowers and leaves cut from card stock and patterned papers.

For my final design, I created the Gate fold card, following the color scheme.
This is how the card look from top view in a folded position. It is so much fun to open and then close it. The Gate fold is pretty cool especially with that gorgeous intricate sentiment.

These are all the dies included in the kit. You can always combine these with your stamps or any other dies to make a variety of thank you cards for all occasions :)
Large Die of the Month Membership
I had so much fun making these... that I have a few more gate folds cut out. I will be sharing a few more designs later :)

I hope you enjoyed my creations, you can find this kit HERE. Thank you Spellbinders for sharing these goodies with me
