Let me show you what I created for this week :)

For this card, I went back with Christmas Card. I took a grey 100lb card stock and die cut it with the cover plate. Only I did not completely cut through it. Since its a thick card stock, it takes me three runs through my Cuttle bug to cut, I just did one. It gave a very deep embossed look. I then inked the panel is grey and red Distress inks. To finish, I added die cut sentiment.
I hope you enjoyed my card... I have used Doodled Christmas Candles Cover Plate Die, Be Jolly Phrase Dies and Distress inks

Guest Designer - The Flower Challenge #33 [Reminder]

Hey lovely friends! Have you played at the challenge "The Flower Challenge" for the month of June. Here is a reminder card I made as a Guest Designer :) Once again I want to thank Vivian and the Flower challenge team for having me :)

I am also excited as I am sponsoring a prize for the challenge from my own Stamp line "Dee's Artsy Impressions" under the umbrella of STAMPlorations. You can find my illustrations HERE.

This month the challenge is to "Focus on Background Stamping" and like last time I decided to use another one of my Floral stamp sets "Blossom Sprays #3" to make my background. Let me show you my card...

To make the card, I took a french grey card stock and stamped the floral cluster multiple times to make my background. I then pencil colored the images, added some enamel dots with the sentiment strips. To make the look unique, I partially colored the petals in pink and white. I also used different colors of yellow to color my lily. I have also usedLittle Love Birthday Wishes and PrismaColor Pencils.

Here is another look...

I hope you liked my card, don't forget to play along with the Flower challenge. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

A little play time for me!

Hey friends! Its been a while since I played with challenges and I made this card just to get back into the fun part of being inspired and creating :) This card is the end result of just that...

Hope you will like it :) I had fun making this card.

For this clean and simple card I was inspired by CASology Week 345 - Calm [Water signifies Calm], Addicted to CAS #161 - Dad [father is my support system], CAS Mix it up June - Ombre [plus I used masking, fuzzy cutting] and Addicted to Stamps and more #344 - CAS

I simply masked [using post-it] and inked the card panel to make my sea with sun rays and stamped, colored and fuzzy cut the images to create this calm scene. I have used Anchored Stamp set, Distress inks and Prisma Color Pencils.
Here is a closeup...

Hope to play along more often. Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

Hey lovely friends! I am super excited to be Guest Designing for the popular and loved card challenge "The Flower Challenge" for the month of June. Thank you so much Vivian and the Flower challenge team for having me :) I am delighted!

I am also excited as I am sponsoring a prize for the challenge from my own Stamp line "Dee's Artsy Impressions" under the umbrella of STAMPlorations. You can find my illustrations HERE.

This month the challenge is to "Focus on Background Stamping" and I decided to use one of my Floral stamp sets "Blossom Sprays #1" to make my background. Let me show you my card...
To make the card, I took a blue card stock and stamped the floral cluster multiple times to make my background. I then stamped a few butterflies and hand drew some fine lines on these with a micron pen. I then pencil colored the images, added some sequins. The sentiment is a clear sticker that I added on a strip of soft blue card stock. I have also used Winged Things, New Day Clear stickers and PrismaColor Pencils.

I hope you liked my card, don't forget to play along with the Flower challenge. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)
