For you...

My "For you" card is inspired by the two challenges, this week's Tuesday Trigger - Moxie Fab World and CAS(E) this Sketch #23. I must say, I am very happy with my card as it looks just the way I had visualized :). My cards often end up looking something else than what might have imagined.

I have added two images, one with and one without butterfly, why??? coz I loved both ;)

So, the Tuesday Trigger was so inspiring that I thought of making the flowers in the picture come alive in my card. So all I did was little bit of hand drawing of the flowers with the step and color them. Additionally to give a 3D effect, I cut out a single petal for each flower, colored it and stuck it on the cut out flowers. I then rolled it to make flowers look real. similarly I made the leaves. To make the spiral ribbon, I cut thin strips of paper, colored them and rolled them in a paint brush and wallah! it retained the spring shape :)
Butterfly was hand drawn n cut in the similar way. Finally all the elements were stuck on white card stock :)

The challenges for which I am playing this card are -

Hope you enjoy my card :)

Journey of a thousand miles...

My "Journey of a thousand miles" card, as the name suggests is an inspiration from CASology challenge with cue card - TRAVEL. This quote clicked my mind the moment I saw the cue card and rest was how can I depict this quote in my card :)

And Bingo!!!, I got the idea of foot steps :) To make this, I first created the background using a water colors to create the effect of sea and the sand. I then hand drew and foot steps using my charcoal pencils and finally added the sentiment after doodling the border :)

Hope u enjoy my card :)

I'll bee there...

This one is dedicated for my love for eye embellishment which I recently purchased from a local craft store Pat Catan's :) This is in continuation with my previous two creations :)

This week at Addicted to CAS - #10 challenge, the theme is FRIENDS :) and the challenge at Simon say's Stamp & Show is - FLY. So, I started to think about a one liner sentiment with the word "be" which I could represent by my Bee inspired from FLY;) and Bingo... I found the perfect sentiment representing true friendship :)

Next was to create, so I used my Nestabilities die Ovals to made the body of the bee using yellow card stock, I used sharpie black marker to make black stripes on the body, vellum to make wings and anthers available for flower making as the antenna, stuck the cute eyes to complete the bees :)
Finally, I stuck the bees using foam dots and added the sentiment. It was fun making this card.

All will be toad...

It took me awhile but finally I nailed it :)
The color challenge at Less is More Week 114 - Lime & Black this week kept me thinking...
I thought about flowers, lime and combining it with other challenges but nothing worked. Today in the morning, I did a brain storming on things that r green in color and then Toad hit me ;)

Rest all I needed was execution. So I hand drew my toad, colored and cut it. Stuck eyes  to my toad. Also, found this cute quote online on Google search :) and created a parking sign :) Finally stuck all the elements together and added the sentiment.

Hope u enjoy my card :)

Hoot hoot hooray...

My 'Hoot hoot hooray' card is inspired by the Sketch at (CAS)e this sketch! Challenge #22

To make this card, I decided to coordinate the elements of the sketch together, hence the tree trunk and the owl came together. I hand drew n hand cut the owl and the tree, colored them. I also used my Nestablities Oval die to cut out a hole in the trunk. Finally, I added the eyes to the owl which I recently purchased at my local craft store Pat Catan's :) I added leaves and the sentiment :)

The sketch at CTS #22 which was my inspiration is shown here under
