Love for Polka dots and Neon...

So, I got this idea in my mind, I mean just out of the blue :) I had no plan of making a card today, but once the idea hits.... u really can't resist. The challenges are the obvious ones ;) Here's my card....

To make this card, I hand drew the box, fuzzy cut and colored it with my pencil colors and a Sharpie Neon Marker. I have these foam stickers in my stash from Easter and these are of neon colors, so I decided to make confetti kind look with these by punching out the mini foam dots from each foam sticker. The sentiment was printed using MS -Word and all the elements were stuck to complete my quick card. I am happy with the end result.

The best moments...

This card is inspired by the ATCAS #17 - WATER and the MUSE #25 for this week by talented Therese Calvrid :) I am a big fan of her creations :) Also, this card is dedicated to my love for scenic cards :) I enjoy creating these a lot.

Creation was the easiest. I took a panel of white card stock did some masking and inking using Memento dew drop dye inks. Then hand drew the tree and swans. The swans were fuzzy cut and colored by red Sharpie marker. The elements were them stuck on a card base. The sentiment & the bird flying over the moon is from Prima stamp collection.

Birthday Wishes...

I was so fascinated by the sketch at Moxie Fab World's - Birthday Creations Week - Birthday Sketch Challenge that I had to incorporate it in my card. Besides, Cas-ual Friday's #108 - Material girl kept challenging me about the material.  I was thinking about felt which is in plenty in my stash. But somehow it was not clicking.

Yesterday night while I was trying to sleep (actually working out ideas in my mind)... the material I will use struck me :) and it is.... Liquitex Modeling paste that I bought for my canvas painting (work-in-progress) I am really not sure if it will be considered as material or not??? Nevertheless I used it. The colors at the House of Cards Week 2 - clean & simple card were the best for my card idea. Here's my card...

To make this card I die cut the square swatches and a heart inside each. I then applied the modeling paste on each heart. Once dried I painted each heart with acrylic paints. The swatches were painted in blue acrylic paint. The sentiment was printed using Word Art on MS word :) All the pieces were stuck on the card base. Finally, sequins were added using glue dots.

Fly high...

This card is inspired by the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch ! Challenge #35, colors from Color Q #197 and theme from CASology Week 52- NEON. Here's my card...

I decided to create kites to represent my sentiment with one large focal kite and the rest smaller indicating the far background to match up with the sketch. I printed the sentiment using MS word. Then hand drew the kites and colored them using the challenge colors at Color Q. I used my Neon Sharpie Markers to do the coloring to meet the NEON theme. I then fuzzy cut each.
While I was arranging my pieces together on card base, I felt something is missing, then the thinking began..... I am still thinking... still thinking....finally gave up and turned to my husband for a suggestion and guess what he gave the purrfect idea! said make a tree in the background :D
Though I did not make the entire tree I still hand drew tree branch in the background of focal image to create a more realistic look. I am so glad I asked him for a suggestion, it makes my card look complete ;)
All the elements were then stuck using foam dots.

After the break...

Well, its been nearly a week since I posted :( It was a long weekend for me and my husband so we decided to enjoy the 4th July in a full swing. We went to an island which is about 80 miles from our place. Guess what it was fun all day from ferry ride to go carts, burgers to ice cream and parade to lovely fireworks...
So, I was taking a break and now it looks like my creativity is still continuing its break ;)
I saved a lot of challenges on my desktop to make as many cards as possible but all in vain :( I could just come up with one card. The inspiration for the sketch is from lovely Chupa (Random Acts of Creativty) who is celebrating her 100th Sketchbook Saturday and I surely wanted to be a part of that :) and the colors are inspired from CAS colors & Sketches Challenge # 32. Here's my card.

I used my chevron stamps to stamp in green n blue inks as per the sketch, I used my flower stamps, colored them with sharpie marker and fuzzy cut them. The sentiment was stamped on a separate flag. the leaves were fuzzy cut and all the elements were stuck. The challenges are -
