STAMPlorations Spring 2018 Stamp Release - Day 1

Hello everyone! Welcome to the STAMPlorations Spring Release - Day 1. All the animal lovers this release is gonna make you love your pets and animals all over again. Today we begin with the set designed by me for my stamp line Dee's Artsy Impressions. I love horses so I had to design one set with horse being the focus "Live Love Ride". There are three different images to work around along with some fabulous encouraging sentiments. Below is the image of the stamp set 

I made three cards using all the three images from this set. Let me show you the cards...

For my first card I die cut a stitched panel from water color card stock and stamped the image with Distress ink. I then did some no line water coloring making a rainbow horse. To finish I stamped the sentiment and layered this panel on black base panel.

For my second card I stamped the image and pencil colored it. I then fuzzy cut it. On my card base I made sun burst by hand drawing it and then masked and inked it with Distress ink. To finish I added the horse with some foam adhesive and stamped the sentiment.

For my final card, I did some no line pencil coloring. I die cut a frame from grey card stock stamped the image in white ink and then colored a white horse. To finish I layered this on a patterned paper panel. Besides using the new set I have used Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies and Pierced Curly Frames/Tags Nesting Dies

Let me show you my third Inspiration card for March 2018...

To make this card, I embossed the image in gold on a kraft card stock. I then lightly shaded the image using a brown color pencil and fuzzy cut it. Then I layered the image on a gold foiled kraft patterned paper. To finish I added a gold die cut sentiment.I have used Blossom Sprays #1 stamp set, Bloom & Grow Phrase Die and Prismacolor Pencils

Let me show you my second Inspiration card for March 2018...

To make this card, I stamped the images on grey card stock in white ink and then colored those with color pencils using the no line coloring technique. To finish I stamped the sentiment and layered the panel on white card base. I have use Sweet and Sassy Mom, and Prismacolor pencils

STAMPlorations Spotlight - Add some Sparkle!

Hello friends! I am up with a spotlight project over at the STAMPlorations blog. I hope I will be able to inspire you. Today I am playing with the Stamp Club set "Sweet Cravings". With winters going on forever, I thought I would bring out the stamp set that will remind me of warm summers :) In this card I have made my focal image shine by adding the sparkle in the background.

Let me show you my first Inspiration card for March 2018...

For this card, I stamped the images of flowers and the leaves to make a heart wreath on a water color card stock. I then water colored these and did some freehand drawing of the twigs with the brush. To finish I did some gold splatter, added sentiment and layered it on a gingham patterned paper. I have used Groovy shoes and Rose buds . Coloring was done using Gansai Tambi water colors
