STAMPlorations Spotlight - Three techniques in one!

Hello friends! I am up with a spotlight project over at the STAMPlorations blog. I hope I will be able to inspire you. Today, I am playing with the newest stamp club set "Bloom Doodles" and for this one I did paper piecing, stamping the sentiment to build a background and using negative die cut :) Let me show you...

Let me show you my fourth Inspiration card for October 2018...

For this one, I stamped and colored the frame tea cups image. I then fuzzy cut the cups out. I layered this on a floral patterned paper background. To finish I added a sentiment strip. I have used Framed Tea Cups, Coffee Happy and Prismacolor Pencils

Let me show you the cards I made...

I had to do my favorite no line pencil coloring with this set. I masked and stamped the images in white ink and then used my Prismacolor pencils to color it. Added a little gold splatter to finish.

 Another one of my must have card technique, water coloring. I simply masked, stamped and water colored the stamped images. I used Gansai Tambi Watercolors.

And finally grey card stock. Yeah! I am obsessed with this color. I used some soft tones for this card, Again coloring was done with Prisma Color pencils.

I have tonnes of ideas with this set and I haven't even touched embossing yet :O

A Tribute to Melissa Lane

Life can be so unpredictable! We lost a great friend, a fabulous paper crafter and a great human being. Today we at STAMPlorations are celebrating life of this amazing lady "Melissa Lane" Although I haven't know her much but for whatever time I knew her she made an impact on me. I miss her.

She was very inspiring and kind :) I wish her family all the strength to deal with this loss.

Melissa had a love for butterflies and that inspired us all to make cards using butterflies. I hope she will love it! Here is my card Melissa and her family.

Prayers for her family! May her soul rest in peace.

This is one of those cards that was done during the Daily Marker 30 Days Coloring challenge. All I did was layer this panel on card base and stamp the sentiment on top. I did no line pencil coloring. I have used these products Blossom Sprays #3, Birthday Bash and Prismacolor Pencils
