 Hello friends! welcome to  Day 3 of "STAMPlorations March 2021 Release".  STAMPlorations has released three new stamp sets and today me and teamies are featuring "Art Marks 3" set illustrated by Shery :)

I think this stamp set is super fun and a must have to add some fun textured effects and backgrounds to your cards. Let me show you the stamps first and then my cards...

I made my first card capturing the fun of stamping these mixed media stamps to build a background. I was inspired by a color palette on Pinterest. I used Distress Oxide inks. To finish I added the die cut flowers using grey card stock, hand drew the stems and finally added the sentiment strip.

Now to my second card, seeing the two stamps I used in this set, I got the idea to make these flowers. A fun and simple way to make a quick yet stylish card. 

Besides the new set I used Trendy Spring Blooms, Little Love Birthday wishes and Bloomfully: Radiance  [for sentiment] Hope you enjoyed my cards.

Hello friends! I am super excited for Day 2 of "STAMPlorations March 2021 Release".  STAMPlorations is releasing three new stamp sets and today me and teamies are featuring "Life is sweeter" set illustrated by me for my stamp line "Dee's Artsy Impressions"

I love playing with solid stamps, the fun of stamping the images and quickly finishing up a card is absolutely thrilling for me. So I designed a set with solid artsy images. Let me show you the stamps first and then my cards...

I made my first card capturing the fun of stamping by simply stamping the images to build a fruity background. To finish I added the die cut sentiment using Skinny sentiments dies

Now to my second card, I wanted to keep it simple with a pop of color. I inked the background panel and used the stencil technique for ghosting. I die cut a focal frame and stamped the pear and leaf. To finish I stamped the sentiment strip. Besides the new set I used All Blooms,  and Pierced Curly Frames/Tags Nesting Dies.

I absolutely adore her style and this set is fun. I made quite a few cards and I will share those in coming weeks but today I am sharing two. Let me show you the stamps first and then my cards...

I made my first card with traditional Super Hero image in mind... red and blue and also stars :) I used Oh my Stars stencil and smooshed red Distress ink on it. I then sprayed it with water and stamped the stencil over watercolor card stock panel. I then stamped and water colored the Super Hero and added the sentiment to finish it.

I love the grungy look that I got with that stencil, what do you think? 

Now to my second card, here I captured the goodness of city scape. Only not the traditional black but an array of colorful bright Distress Oxide inks layered on top of the other to build the sky scrapers. I then fuzzy cut this. For the background I masked and ink to create a sun burst in blue ink. To make a birthday card I added embossed vellum balloons. Besides the new set I used Balloons and Banners, Skinny sentiments dies andParty time stamp set.

Crafty Meraki - March 6th 2021

 Hello friends! I am back with Crafty Meraki goodness. Today I am featuring another set I illustrated for Crafty Meraki called “Floral Hugs” . I am super excited to share it here today as I have not shared it on my blog before. I made other cards featuring this set earlier which were posted on my Instagram, scroll down to see the previous ones.  This set was released during "Meraki Hugs" release in January. You can check out all the products HERE. 

Let me show you what I made... 

So this card is pretty simple to make. It's all about coloring here :) I stamped the image in a light color ink and then used my Chalkola Watercolor Brush Pens to color this. Easy peasy! To finish I added the heat embossed sentiment strip. Here is a close up...

Let me show you my first Inspiration project for March 2021...

This is another super easy CAS card I made. This was kind of a fun find while I was looking into the stencils, I saw the heart in this stencil and that was it. I simple masked around to ink this white heart on a grey card stock. Next I stamped the floral image and did no line pencil coloring. To finish I stamped the sentiment. I used Facets Stencil, Wooded and Thank you Coffee
