We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is Harriet and she has picked a wonderful code word for you... GEOMETRIC. The possibilities are endless with the geometric design, pick any shape and create a design with it, or just stamp the shape on ur card creating a pattern. Also, I would like to welcome back our brilliant Guest Designer Lyndal. Her creative style is unique, her card are both pretty and brilliant in design. You can see her projects by clicking here, Ideas and Paper
I created a simple pattern using a geometric shape. Here's my card...
Firstly, I stamped the square shape from STAMPlorations VIGNETTE Retro Mod shapes to create a colorful base. then I added the die cut arrow into the heart by making a slight slit. Next I adhered this heart with the twine and some sequins on the card base. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment. I am sharing this card with Color Q #254 and Keep it Simple #46 - Arrows
Our DT has come up with some amazing projects this week. Pop over to our ATCAS challenge blog here and take a peek. I am looking forward to the challenge this fortnight and am very excited to visit your blogs.
I have one more card to share, I created this for a family friend's baby shower. They are having a boy, so I kept the colors blue and grey. I was inspired by the Sketch at the Sunday Stamps challenge #82 and since its a baby card I am entering this at the Paper Crafting challenges #16 - Baby.
This was an easy card to make, I first stamped the stripes, masked them and stamped the Congratulations wood block stamp I won at a giveaway from Lisa's blog :) Inside the circle of sentiment, I stamped the baby feet. Next I stamped, colored and fuzzy cut the other baby items and adhered it with a die cut vellum scalloped semi circle.
Have fun in creating CAS card :) and thank you for visiting my blog.
