STAMPlorations Stamp Release Spotlight Week - Day 1

Hello friends! It's time for the STAMPlorations January Release Spotlight week - Day 1. I am loving this release, the stamps are just amazing and what everyone has created using these will blow your mind :) We also have a very special Guest Star who needs no introduction. Her designs are simply mind blowing and breathtaking... you will be mesmerized by her creations and she is none other than Laura Bassen of Doublestick Heaven...

There are a lot of prizes up for grab, SIX (6) commenters randomly drawn from the designers' blogs will each win a $10 gift certificate.ONE (1) commenter randomly drawn from the STAMPlorations blog will win a $30 gift certificate + surprise prizes. Today we are throwing the spotlight on another of the Shirley's fabulous set The Bee's Knees: Houses. Aren't these houses so adorable :)

I created two cards, my first card involves, stamping, masking and inking where I have created a look in which the focal image is colorful and dimensional and rest is black and white.


For my second card, I did some paper piecing, this one uses patterned paper completely. Additionally, I have used the STAMPlorations Vignette - Tree silhouette stamp set

    A very interesting take with both cards. Like the tag/highlighted one. Such a perfect match up. I like the trees. Both cards are just so cute.

    I so like the way you combined the sets to make the landscape with the trees and houses. It really gives your card dimension. Along with a tag to highlight the focal image, awesome details and the special treatment for the other one by paper piecing and PP:)))))

    WOW! Like the neutral mixed with the tag's vivid coloring. The card is so very interesting and different. Lovely. The paper piecing is really perfect...again love the neutrals.

    Diese Karte mit dem farbigen Teil, ansonsten schwarz-weiß, ist einfach wunderbar.

    Both cards are beautiful. First however made the biggest impression on me. As if I saw the world through the eyes of an experienced hard man. Only his fragnemt is colorful and beautiful, the rest is a sad reality. That is why it is so important to go out and paint the world of others, those whose fate touched painfully.

    Oh I LOVE these!! Again, you really know how to tie in your cards with the sentiments; they're not just an after-thought. Love how you depicted "memories" with a spotlight of color. The muted colors of the last one really work well together too.

    TAG In colorful and the behind is house without color its a clever idea Deepti really clever with that sentiment it MEMORIES to the old house right
    and the second one so sweeet with that heart and that hill made by DP..
