The release spotlight week at STAMPlorations kicks off from today with my stamp set Power of Words, and tomorrow we will have the showcase of Shery's Faith Expressions stamp set. At STAMPlorations Blog, we are showcasing my newest stamp set released under my stamp line Dee's Artsy Impressions I am super excited to showcase this set... this time my focus was on some popular phrases :)
To add to the phrases I illustrated some images that were incorporated into the sentiments :) This set is a fun collection of sentiments that can be used for various occasions and it will also allow you to create beautiful backgrounds to pair with the sentiments :) You can also use these with various other stamp sets :)
Here are the cards I created with this set... I created a watercolored scene on the first and a watercolor background n the other. The background on the second card was created using salt on watercolor.
Besides the new stamp set, I have also used Tree Silhouettes, Crazy Double Running stitch Rectangle Nesting dies

Deepti - both your cards are stunning. The moon is awesome in that magic blue sky....and just so right for your 'power words'.....loooove the colours in the Miracle card and using a scrap of vellum for your sentiment so not to block the colours, brilliant

ReplyDeleteDeepti, you've paired the 'perfect' images and backgrounds for your inspiring sentiments. The visuals enhance the words, and vice versa, marvelously. I must tell you: your sentiments touched me deeply. As my niece and nephew get older (I've explained they need to stop doing this so quickly *grin*), I know they'll need encouragement to face challenges and reminders that I, their Aunty c, loves them to the moon and back (something I want them to know no matter how old they are). You've created - for me - a timeless set...Thank you.

ReplyDeleteWOW Dee, It is scary how well this card speaks to my aesthetic and my visions :o I love space so much (phone and laptop screensavers), and have just started experimenting with watercolours and inks and hope to work up to this level :)
