CSCC #5

Hello friends! CSCC is back with a new challenge. This time the challenge is fun 'coz we bring to you a pop up card, sounds awesome, right!!. The challenge will run for a month, so you will have plenty of time to play along. For more details on the challenge... please click HERE.

Now to my card... Frankly speaking when I saw this challenge, I was like why Deepti Stephens has to make life so complicated LOL. I never make such cards, they are way beyond my comfort zone but I guess in the end I like Deepti Stephen's idea to try something new. It is so much fun. So initially I started out by googling pop up cards. Got an idea but then Christine of Das Kartenchaos came as a savior with THIS amazing video on a slider and pop up card. I followed her video and created this :)
and this is how it looks when it slides and pops :)
She has even provided with a cutting file but I went with the traditional way of measuring and cutting things :) as I don't have a Silhouette yet ! I hand wrote the sentiment and hand drew the stitch lines to finish my card. I also created a washi tape banner to match the sketch.

There is a lot more inspiration from our DT, head over to our challenge blog to see :)

I was inspired by the following challenges -

I can't wait to see what you will create :) Have fun creating something Catchy ;)

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

Supplies used - Stamp TAWS Nap time, Inks - Hero Arts Mint Julep, Memento tuxedo black; Pattern paper - Basics stack; Twine from Recollections and washi tape from We are memory keepers
