Fusion #17

Hello friends!! time for another Fusion :) I hope you enjoyed playing along with our previous challenge. Our new challenge is perfect for the summer time with beautiful bright bloom :) Now let's see what will you make this time ;) So here's the Fusion inspiration n sketch for you...
FUSION is a very interesting, it gives us a photo and a sketch, so possibilities are endless with the freedom given in the challenge. You can just work with the sketch or just photo, in my case I went with the photo inspiration only. Though I tried quite a few designs that incorporated the sketch but they made their way into the trash. So here's my card...
I guess sometimes sticking to your own style works best :) To make this card, I masked off the edges and inked the card base with distress inks. Then I took a fern rubber stamp and water stamped it on the two edges. I hope u can see it, A closeup of the photo will show better :) Once the base dried, I heat embossed the sentiments and also added some modeling paste through the stencil, just to introduce some focus to family. Fianlly, I went over the edges with a Spectrum Noir pastel green marker. Since, I have use texture, dimension along with stamps and ink... this card will be considered as a mixed media card. So remember to play along the MMCC #2 - Summer

I am linking this up to the following challenges -
