Swirly love...

Hi friends! I have a couple of cards to share, I have played with STAMPlorations Distressed Floral swirls stamp set. I love these artsy designs of the swirls, they make your card look so elegant :)
To make this card, I heat embossed the swirls in white on vellum and fuzzy cut the lower edge along the swirl design.I inked the card base with distress ink, added some water splatter and heart embossed the sentiment with silver. To finish the card I added some tiny die cut butterflies and the vellum piece I created earlier :) These butterflies were sent by a sweet friend of mine along with few more goodies :) She is the best !

So that finishes my first card :)

For my second card, I was inspired by the sketch and polka dots of the inspiration card at The Cutting Edge challenge #6 and by the Wedding theme and colors at The Card Concept #16 - Create a Wedding card. Since it has sparkle, I will link it up at Simon Say's stamp Wednesday challenge- Make it sparkle and also it has diecuts so will link it up at A blog named Hero #49 - Die a little
To make this card, I first heat embossed another swirl from this set. Then I inked the vertical panel. and created a bokeh effect using STAMPlorations VIGNETTE Retro Mod shapes, I also did some water stamping using another stamp from Holiday Artsy set. Then I punched out the daisies, inked them lightly in blue, die cut the vellum leaves and alphabet for the love sentiment. I placed it all together on card base and to finish my card I added some sparkly clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh :)

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)
