CASEplorations #1

Welcome to a new fun feature at STAMPlorations, we are starting out something called as "CASEplorations"  the brainchild of Maria and named by Vicki :) on the first of every month, the STAMPlorations girls will be sharing CASEs of some of our favorite cards - maybe even one of yours. Be sure to stop by the blog on February 1st for the first installment.

CASEplorations will serve as a starting off point for our Inspiration Project Posts. We show you how we CASE a card so you can, in turn, CASE the inspiration cards we share throughout the month. You can find more details HERE.

Our very first artist is none other than the very popular and very talented Julie Ebersole of Paper Trufflez. I think she needs no introduction, we all know about her awesomeness. So let me show you her card and my CASE...

You will find my card to be absolutely different, I always have a hard time to "Copy And Share Everything", instead I picked up elements on Julie's card that inspired me.
Yay, I know u are wondering what did I do?!! Well, here's how I got inspired... I saw the clouds in the frosting and fence in the cupcake base. I used a scale and a marker to draw the fence. I used the ARTplorations Stencils - Clouds and Hearts all over to build my sky. I also used STAMPlorations Vignette: Tree Silhouettes stamp set for the sentiment and trees. I also incorporated the white sentiment on black banner from Julie's card and for the gold, I did some masking and inking in gold to create the landscape. I am sharing this at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - Anything Goes!

Hope you enjoyed it. Check out the amazing CASE creations by our team, HERE

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment.

Supplies used: Artplorations stencils - Clouds, Hearts all over; Stamps- Vignette tree silhouette; Inks - Memento Tuxedo black, Delicata Gold, Hampton Art Pigment White ink and Distress Sugar spun; Sharpie fine tip marker
