Let me show the card I created...
To make this card, I used the fabulous sketch from Freshly Made Sketches 200th bash as my inspiration, STAMPlorations is one of the sponsors at the FMS 200th bash and I wanted to be a part of this celebration. I embossed the sentiment on water color paper and water colored the base in grey with wash technique. I stamped, water colored and fuzzy cut the banners from my Balloons and Banners set and adhered them on the base with some glue and foam dots, To finish the card I added some sequins.
Don't forget to leave a comment and visit rest of the stops in the hop for your chance to win this set. Click HERE for rest of the stops. Also, don't forget to play along and celebrate with FMS

  30. I love watercolour, and you have again inspired me to use them in a new way. Gorgeous, and the dark grey sets off the sentiment so well. Don't you just love the texture of watercolour paper, I think it brings something extra to a card, and especially when used in the way you do, leaving a lot of it exposed and accentuated by the fading grey colour.

  31. The water colour paper adds lovely texture to the card. I am going to try your technique of embossing onto water colour paper and then add colour after the emboss.
