ATCAS #79 - Cake

We are back in the new year with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is very talented Jaydee and she has chosen the code word... CAKE. Huge possibilities with this code word too :) and much needed code word after creating tons and tons Christmas and Holiday cards :) I would also like to welcome very talented Elizabeth Stewart our Guest Designer. She has a fabulous Flickr Gallery, you can check it out HERE
Our winner will a $10 Gift Certificate from our amazing sponsor STAMPlorations
I had so much fun creating my Cake theme card:). Here's my card...
To make this card, I took a water color card base, did some brush strokes using Koi water colors and stamped the cupcake and sentiment in Archival Jet black ink. Easy peasy!! I am sharing this at A blog Name Hero January Challenge - One layer Card and One layer Simplicity challenge - Sky's is the limit (I interpreted it as sky is the limit when it comes to creativity)

Our DT has come up with some amazing projects this week. Pop over to our ATCAS challenge blog here and take a peek. I am looking forward to the challenge this fortnight and am very excited to visit your blogs.

Have fun in creating CAS card :) and thank you for visiting my blog.

  20. Hi Deepti...

But what about that song "Its my party and I can cry if I want to" hahahhaha! But if you do cry, better be a sweet cupcake like yours. How SIMPLE and so effective, genius to do the simple strokes of color like that. Beautiful!

  23. Your swipes of colour are a brilliant background for your cupcake. I need to remember the sky's the limit when it comes to creativity; sometimes I get stuck in a rut.
