Here's my card...

STAMPlorations April 2016 Stamp Release - Smile !

The release week at STAMPlorations kicked off from Monday with Shery's Trendy feathers - 2 and Shirley's Groovy shoes. Today at STAMPlorations Blog, we are showcasing my newest stamp set called "Smile" released under my stamp line Dee's Artsy Impressions  I am super excited to showcase this set... I designed yet another floral set :)

I love Cala Lily, well who doesn't ... they are such pretty flowers :) I have also added a few sentiments with the focus on the word smile :) I have made a couple of cards with this and there are many more to come :)

To make this card, I stamped, the frames (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Frames and flowers) next I the images and sentiment (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Party Mates and Balloons and Banners) All I did next was coloring these images with Prisma Color pencils :)

To make this card, I stamped, fuzzy cut and colored the Oriole (using The Birds and the Blooms) next I assembled the card using the branch dies (from Impression Obsessions) and Frame die (using SSS double stitched rectangle dies) To finish the card I stamped the sentiment (using Fond expressions)

ATCAS #86 - Rain

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is very talented Ceal and she has chosen the code word... RAIN. A super fun codeword which gives us numerous ideas, I went with a more motivating theme behind the code word :) I would like to welcome our Guest Designer Caroline Paton of Keep it Sweet & Simple blog. I am a big fan of her cute and CAS style. She is simply awesome :)

Here's my card...

To make this card, I took a water color card stock and created my rainy background using water colors (Gansai Tambi, I gift from the sweetest friend, I am loving these). I also heat embossed the image (using Dee;'s Artsy Impressions - New Beginning set) and water colored it. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment and added some vellum diecut clouds :)

So let me show you what I created, I have used ARTplorations Stained Glass Stencil. 

I applied some translucent embossing paste through the stencil on green card stock. I also stamped, fuzzy cut and colored the flowers (from Lotus Loveset) using Prisma Color pencils. I arranged flowers on card base. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment (using Fond Expressions - 2) I also added some wood veneer butterflies.

So let me show you what I created, I have used ARTplorations Stained Glass Stencil. I created two cards with one stenciled panel :)

I used Distress ink Victorian velvet and Tattered Rose to sponge the card stock panel. Then I used the SSS rectangle diecuts to cut out two pieces. I also stamped, fuzzy cut and colored the flowers (from Floral Bliss set) using Prisma Color pencils. I arranged flowers on diecut branch (from Impressions Obsession) To finish the card I stamped the sentiment (using Fond Expressions - 2) I also added some wink of stella on the flowers, here's the closeup

Let me show you my first Inspiration card for April 2016...

To make this card, I took a white card base and stamped the roses and sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink (using Shery Russ Designs - Blossom Overture) , I also stamped the frame (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Frames and flowers) Then I colored these usinf Prisma color pencils.

ATCAS #85 - Inlaid Die Cut(s)

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is very talented Sarah and she has chosen the code word... Inlaid Diecuts. This is one of my very favorite technique, i makes you card look so delicate and fantastic. Plus this time it is even more special to me as I had recently bought a butterfly diecut and never got a chance to use it :) this code word gave me a perfect opportunity :)

Here's my card...

 

To make this card, I die cut the Memory box butterfly on a white card stock. I also inked a glossy card stock with some alcohol inks and die cut it again. Then on a black card stock I added some white splatter, laid the outline die cut of the butterfly in white on the base and then inlaid the colored pieces into it. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment (from STAMPlorations - Fond Expressions)
