CAS-ual Friday's Stamps Feature - Christmas!!

Hello friends!! Today I am here for CAS-ual Friday's Stamps  feature post. For this post I thought it would be good to create some Christmas cards :) for inspiration.

I created two cards using the CAS-ual Friday's Flurry Fri-Dies and CAS-ual Friday's Must love Snowflakes , CAS-ual Friday's Merry Kiss-mas sets, Here is a closeup into my first card...

For both the cards I kept the technique same... water colored BG, I used water and some Distress inks to create a washed look. On my second card I did some tone on tone stamping of hollies and on my first card, I heat embossed the snowflakes. and did water color resist BG, I also stamped the sentiment in Delicata gold ink to add to the design. Then I added the sentiment banner with mistletoe on first card and added a die cut snowflake with some gold twine on the second.

It was fun creating these cards, I hope I was able to inspire you. Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!

Hello!! Our lovely Amy of Tsuruta Designs has done an amazing job of organizing yet another Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. And she has lined up many sponsors with amazing prizes for grab.
Play along by creating a coffee or any hot holiday beverage card. Post it on your blog/ gallery and then link it up at Amy's blog, HERE. You can link up until Friday, December 12, at 11:55 p.m. PST (GMT -800) and Amy will be randomly drawing winners of the sponsor prizes from all the projects linked up! Also, STAMPlorations is offering additional Blog candy... you can find the details HERE!

Here's what I created, This was fun to create as the Polaroid frames seen on my card were cut out from Patterned paper and the coffee cup was heat embossed over these frames. I used STAMPlorations Vignette- Eat, drink and Be Merry set.
To make this card, I adhered the torn pieces of kraft card stock on the two ends of card base. Added some splatter with wgite ink. In the white space, I adhered the Polaroid pieces with foam dots. Finally, I stamped the sentiment and added some twine. I am sharing this with Color Q #271 and Stamping Celebration #93 - Sketch, Muse Challenge #97 - Therese Calvird (inspired by Polaroid)

ATSM #125 - Photo Inspiration and a fond farewell !!

Today is a sad day for me as this is my last post as a Design Team member of ATSM :( ATSM has been the closest to my heart team and I am so gonna miss being with all the lovely ladies of this team. I still remember as if it was yesterday when I applied for their DT call and to my surprise I got an email from Kylie that I was selected :D I was jumping with joy!! Addicted to stamps was the first Design team I ever joined. My very first post went live on Oct 2nd 2013, its been more than a year and believe me time just flew with this awesome team. I want to thank Kylie for putting her faith in me and bringing me on board even when I was very new to crafting and the concept of Design teams :)

Kylie is such a darling, an awesome leader and always there to help. I am also thankful to Sandie n Hayley for all the hard work they do to make life easier for the rest of the team. I am also thankful to my lovely teamies for leaving there sweet love on my posts. I know I am always gonna catch up with u all in the blog land but still, I am gonna miss... It is sad to leave :(  Love you all !

That being said, let me show you my card and the inspiration photo...

Our sponsor for this challenge is Stitchy Bear and the winner will get 3 digital stamps worth $10 from their shop.

I have used their Birthday - Happy Happy Digital stamp for my card :)
Here is a closeup into the shaker :)
To make this card I resized the image and printed it on my card base. colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers. Then I made a shaker card, for that I took a patterned paper panel (from K&Company - Christmas specialty paper) and diecut the bubble box die (from CAS-ual Friday's) and created a shaker by adding some gold sequins and stamped the sentiment (from STAMPlorations - Joyful set) to finish my card. I am sharing this with Inkspirational #71 - Anything Goes with Gold!, Just us girls Week 270 - Sparkle, The Friday Mashup #188 - Silver/ Gold + Christmas and Jingle bells - Anything Goes!

STAMPlorations and my "Sugar Rush"

Hello friends! Today at STAMPlorations, we are doing a preview of Stamp Club stamp set called "Sugar Rush". This is such a cool stamp set, includes 4 fab images and multiple sentiments. You can find more about the benefits of Stamp Club, HERE.
You must be wondering about the title!! STAMPlorations Sugar rush is understandable, why n how is my sugar rush.... well for one I am loving this set and the other reason will be revealed later in the post.So let me show you what I created...
To make this card, I took a water color card base and did some water color wash, I used Distress inks for this. On another piece of Water color card stock, I stamped the donuts and then cut out the tag by drawing n the cutting it out with scissors, this enabled me to keep the tag one layer yet adding dimension with donut extending out. I stamped the sentiment, tied a twine and adhered this on card base with some foam dots. To finish the card I added some wood veneer hearts. I am sharing this at CAS on Sunday #48 - Sketch, Less is More Week 201 - Color Challenge, Virginia's View #10 - All things Distressed and Stamping Royalty #257 - Use your favorite stamp set
