Color Blooms Blog Hop !!

It's time for another fun, amazing and inspiring hop and Linky party at STAMPlorations but there is something different about it :) Today we are doing a "Color Blooms Blog Hop", where we will use some of the pages from Color Blooms coloring book and transform them into a project... a card/ tag and so on. Sounds fun right!! Well it indeed was :) Not only we get to enjoy coloring but also making something out of it is truly satisfying :)
There is tons of inspiration  and a lot of prizes to be won :) All you have to do is leave comments on the STAMP blog and on designers’ blogs, participate in the linky party by downloading the Color Blooms page sampler, creating a project out of it, and then linking it up. Finally like, comment, and tag a friend on our Facebook page post. The commenting and Linky Closes on September 6th 2016.

PRIZES
  • ONE (1) commenter randomly drawn from our Facebook page will win a $10 gift certificate for herself and a $10 gift certificate for one friend she tags in her comment
  • ONE (1) commenter randomly drawn from all comments left on the STAMP blog and designers' blogs will win a $10 gift certificate
  • ONE (1) participant randomly drawn from the linky party entries will win a copy of Color Blooms and a $15 gift certificate

You can buy this awesoem coloring book "COLOR BLOOMS" .... HERE

So let me show you what I did :) Earlier when we celebrated the National Coloring Book Day, HERE using  Color Blooms, we all had chosen different mediums to color the different pages from the book. Let me show you those first :)
Using Twinkling H2O
Using Gansai Tambi watercolors

Using Sharpie Markers
I think the results are awesome from each of these. These can hold decent amount of water but you cannot do watercolor washes :)  From these I picked the one with the Twinkling H2O's for my tag :)
Tag is pretty simple to make, I diecut the tag from the page and stuck it on another white tag. I also made a framed tag with a diecut sentiment added to it along the edge and that's it :) I did not stick the framed piece on the colored piece :) Here are a few closeups...

Here's a look on how this will look on a gift bag ;)
Besides Color Blooms, I have used the Cutplorations Luggage Tag Nesting dies and the Smile word die.

Hope you enjoyed the end result of my colored page :) don't forget to hop along to win prizes :)

This was a super easy card to make :) I used a a patterned paper (from Dear Lizzy - Day dreamer 6x6 paper pad) for my BG. I diecut and stamped the the image and colored it with prisma color pencils. I adhered it on the base with foam dots and stucka bouquet of flowers I had in my stash for so long. To finifh the card, I stamped the sentiment.  I have used Kathryn's Big wishes , Fond Expressions - 2

ATCAS #95 - Silhouette

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is fabulous Doni and she has chosen the code word... SILHOUETTE. This word reminds me of all things artsy :) sunsets and sunrise, spotlight, shadows and so on.  Let's see how would you interpret it.
You will win a Gift certificate from our fabulous sponsor STAMPlorations
Here's my card...
This is a one layer card with a pretty simple design. All I did was create a sun free hand with a round brush adding different colors and and letting the water do the blending :) Once dried I added the stenciled flowers and stamped the sentiment.
Here is a closeup click...
The supplies I have used are STAMPlorations Bloom Silhouettes StencilSTAMPlorations Noteworthy and Crazy Double Running Stitch Nesting rectangle dies, Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors.

I am sharing this at Craft Stamper Take it Make it August Challenge - Stencils and Masks, One Layer Simplicity Challenge #30 - August ArtCASology Week 211 - Dream and AAA Cards #71 - Blending

Welcome back to STAMPlorations Inspiration post. Let me show you my third Inspiration card for August 2016...
The reindeer from Becca's set is so adorable I love playing with it often. To make this card I stamped the reindeer and the balloon doing some masking on a white card stock with a wavy stitched diecut edge. I colored the images with Prisma color pencils, stamped the sentiment and hand drew the strings. To finish the card I adhered the panel on patterned paper and added some diecut clouds. I have used Reindeer Games , Balloons and Banners
