STAMPlorations Special release Blog Hop - Yuletide Cheer!

Today we are having a Special Stamp Release Blog Hop at STAMPlorations. This set is designed  by awesome Shery and is called "Yuletide Cheer". Another amazing add on to a Christmas set. This will help you build up your stash of awesome Christmas cards. I am super excited about this set.

We are doing a mini Blog Hop to showcase the versatility of this stamp. Let me show you the cards I created with this set...

My first card of course uses water coloring, I am supremely obsessed with it. I am sure you must have realized it by now LOL. All I did was some stamping and masking to create the card design and then water coloring it.  Fun part to this design is that one of the snowman is in a fun mood :)  I am sharing this at Muse Christmas Visions - Marilyn Cotter ( inspired by the snowman in her adorable card); Christmas Crad Challenges #43 - Anything Goes! and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes!

 

The second showcases the use of patterned papers, here I made the gingerbread house the focal piece by showcasing it as an ornament :) I had so much fun making cards with this set. I am sharing this card at Can you Case it #88 Designer's Choice - Anything Goes!, Fab 'n' Funky #275 - Anything Christmas and Word Art Wednesday #203 - Anything Goes!

Today we are throwing Spotlight on The Bee's Knees SMALLBIRDS.  Wow! who wouldn't fall in love with these birds :)

Let me show you my card...

This is a pretty simple card to make, On a water color card base. I stamped the two birds, one being slightly offset the edge with archival inks. I also stamped the sentiment. Then I did some water color wash. I also added a touch of grey on the birds, so that they don't look too simple. Let me show you my card...

This is a pretty simple card to make, On the card base I stamped the dots using Retro Mod shapes. On another card stocked I stamped and inked the carriage. I also die cut and inked the square panel to form the focal piece. I stamped the sentiment and adhered it all to finish my card. This is a pretty simple card to make, I took a white panel and stamped the butterflies from Trendy butterflies set by masking them then I cut along it's edge (using PPP stitched border die), stamped the sentiment and adhered it all together to finish my card :) I am sharing this at House of Cards April Challenge - Add a butterfly, CASology Week 143- Ombre, Retrosketches #160 and Simon says Wednesday challenge - CAS

This is a pretty simple card to make, I took a patterned paper, cut along it's edge (using PPP stitched border die), stamped the baby clothes on patterned papers and fuzzy cut them. heat embossed the sentiment and adhered it all together to finish my card :)

Let me show you my card...

This is a pretty simple card to make, I took a water color panel, cut along it's edge (using PPP stitched border die), embossed it (with Darice Birds in flight folder) and water colored at the other edge after stamping the sentiment. Next I added wood grain patterned paper from Echo park to finish my card. I am sharing this at The Paper Players #241 - CAS + water colors and Just us girls challenges # 289 - Brown, white Plus yellow

Today we are throwing the spotlight on a super fabulous set on Spotlight on: A Girl and Her Shoes.  A must have for all of us :)

This is what I created, I took a panel and stamped the Distress Floral Swirls in three shades of pink. I stamped the shoe in black over it. I then  layered this with some patterned paper and vellum to finish my card. I also distressed he edges of the patterned paper.

I created a fun card. To make it I cut out 6 squares and inked them in 3 shades of Distress inks, then on each one I stamped the image and laid it on the card base with some foam adhesive. Today we are throwing the spotlight on another of the Shirley's fabulous set The Bee's Knees: Newlyweds. Isn't this so pretty :)

I created two cards. In my first card, I used a patterned paper to create a base panel and heat embossed the image in white, I also hand drew and fuzzy cut the veil of the bride from vellum. I created a fun card which I a particularly proud of :D This is totally authentic ;) All I did was to stamp my own hand, stamp the sentiment and a little spray of yellow ink using a Mini Mister.

I created two cards, my first card involves, stamping, masking and inking where I have created a look in which the focal image is colorful and dimensional and rest is black and white.

For my second card, I did some paper piecing, this one uses patterned paper completely. Additionally, I have used the STAMPlorations Vignette - Tree silhouette stamp set

STAMPlorations November Release Blog Hop - Day 5

Today, we're putting the spotlight on Trendy Leaves. We'll be picking one commenter to win this set so leave a comment here and on the rest of the STAMPlorations girls' posts for a chance to win the set.

Let me show you what I did with these amazing leaves. I had a blast creating my cards using all the stamps from this release. I have created two cards yet again. For my first card, I inked a panel in Distress Vintage photo and Mustard seed. I stamped and fuzzy cut one of the leaves in Yellow n brown shades of ink (Hero arts) On the card base I randomly stamped the leaves to build the BG, finally adhered it all together 

In my second card, I stamped the leaves in various shades of green, I also fuzzy cut a couple of leaves to add dimension. Then I adhered a patterned paper panel on the lower half of the card with the foam adhesive. To finish the card I added some punched daisies.

STAMPlorations November Release Blog Hop - Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of the November Stamp Release Blog Hop here at STAMPlorations! For complete info on our hop, including how you can win stamps, click here.

Today, we're putting the spotlight on CityGirl, another fabulous stamp set that Shirley Bampton designed. We'll be picking one commenter to win this set so leave a comment here and on the rest of the STAMPlorations girls' posts for a chance to win the set.

Here are my creations... I was dying to use Neon Inks, some how this trendy City Girl goes perfectly with the Neons :) In my first card, I stamped and masked the city girl. I then inked the city stamp with two shades of Neon inks and did generation stamping to build the BG. I also used some Distress Floral Swirls to add more interest. Removed the mask colored the girl and adhered the sentiment.

For my second card, I did the same thing except I used Retro mod shapes and 4 shades on Neon Inks to build the BG. I also used Holiday Artsy for the rings and pencil eraser for small dots.
