Today we are having a Special Stamp Release Blog Hop at STAMPlorations. I am super excited about this mini release as this set is another one of my Christmas designs called "Santa is here". I always had this fascination for cute Santa and through this set, I have been able to create some of my favorite Santa looks :) This will help you build up your stash of awesome Christmas cards. I am super excited about this set.

We are doing a mini Blog Hop to showcase the versatility of this stamp. You are welcome to hop along and leave comments on STAMPlorations blog and all the Design Team blogs for your chance to win this set. The Winner will be drawn randomly from comments made on all the blogs. The commenting closes on October 9th and the winners will be announce on October 11th.

Here is a preview into the set "Santa is here".

Let me show you the cards I created with this set...
My first card showcases all the stamps from the set :) I so enjoyed coloring these. All is did was laying out some of the die cut panels on the card base and stamping the images off the edge :) Fun and easy :) I am sharing this at Virginia's View Challenge #19 - All things colored, Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - CAS Christmas and Freshly Made Sketches #207

The Christmas card and no snow... not possible ;) So I decided to create a shaker card showcasing Santa getting into the chimney :) with Distressed white glitter and some PPP clear sequins as the snow in the shaker :) I kept the colors subtle :) I am sharing this at CAS-ual Friday's CFC 144 Tic-tac-toe (I used Stitching, Coloring and Distressing), CASology Week 167 - Silly and Sketch Saturday Week #381

Hope you enjoyed my creations:) Also till October 14th (one week), Santa is here is available at 10% off ($10.80 instead of $12), Click HERE

The Hop to Stop!!

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and I am participating in The Hop to Stop, this hop is designed to raise awareness about domestic violence, an issue that impacts 1 in 4 women, and the resources that are available to assist victims of domestic violence. This thoughful hop is the master mind of super fabulous, very creative and amazingly supportive Becca Cruger. She is also my team mate at STAMPlorations and also a cool stamp designer :) I am so happy and honored to be a part of her hop.
For more information about domestic violence, its impacts, and available resources, visit the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence. http://www.nrcdv.org/

Becca has put together a ton of sponsors for this hop, so you have a chance not only to spread awareness but also to win prizes :) In order to participate you can create any type of papercraft/mixed media art project, as long as it *features* the color purple (domestic violence awareness color). A link to the hop will close October 14. Prize winners will be announced October 17.

Let me show you the card I created...
I went with a simple design and kept the color as the focal :) I stamped the lotus and water ripples (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Lotus Love) on a water colored card stock, water colored it and stamped the sentiment, I layered this diecut panel on a purple card stock which was scored :) To finish the card I stamped the sentiment (using the Bee's Knees - City Girl ) and added some purple sequins :) I am sharing this at Virginia's View Challenge #19 - All thing Colored, Addicted to Stamps & More #164 - CASSparkle and Shine Challenge #15 (inspired by water coloring)

Hope you will join the hop too! You can link you projects HERE

CASEplorations #9 - Greta Hess

Hi friends! it's time for CASEplorations inspiration post at STAMPlorations. On the first of every month, the STAMPlorations girls share CASEs of some of our favorite cards - maybe even one of yours. Be sure to stop by the blog  for the seventh installment of CASEd inspiration.
CASEplorations will serve as a starting off point for our Inspiration Project Posts. We show you how we CASE a card so you can, in turn, CASE the inspiration cards we share throughout the month. You can find more details HERE.

Our artist for the month of October is none other than the very creative and talented Greta Hess of GG CreationsI am a big fan of unique designs, you will fall in love with her beautiful cards. So let me show you her beautiful card (click HERE to see her original post) and my CASE...
It is obvious how I got inspired by Greta card, here is my card...
Though I was inspired by the gingham and the black and white, I somehow decided to not go with the obvious floral route :) To make this card, I took a black cardstock and heat embossed the houses (using the Bee's knees - Houses), I masked the houses and stamped the moon (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Frames and flowers) and embossed the stars (using Balloons and Banners set). On the card base I added the patterned paper and layered it with black and white panels after diecutting their edges (using PPP Stitched Border - 1 dies)

Hope you enjoyed it. Check out the amazing CASE creations by  Greta and our team, HERE

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

Today we are having a Special Stamp Release Blog Hop at STAMPlorations. This set is designed  by awesome Shery and is called "Yuletide Cheer". Another amazing add on to a Christmas set. This will help you build up your stash of awesome Christmas cards.

The commenting closes on October 2nd and the winners will be announce on October 4th.

Here is a preview into the set "Yuletide Cheer".

Let me show you the cards I created with this set...
My first card of course uses water coloring, I am supremely obsessed with it. I am sure you must have realized it by now LOL. All I did was some stamping and masking to create the card design and then water coloring it.  Fun part to this design is that one of the snowman is in a fun mood :)  I am sharing this at Muse Christmas Visions - Marilyn Cotter ( inspired by the snowman in her adorable card); Christmas Crad Challenges #43 - Anything Goes! and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes!

The second showcases the use of patterned papers, here I made the gingerbread house the focal piece by showcasing it as an ornament :) I had so much fun making cards with this set. I am sharing this card at Can you Case it #88 Designer's Choice - Anything Goes!, Fab 'n' Funky #275 - Anything Christmas and Word Art Wednesday #203 - Anything Goes!
CYCI#88

There are many more cards to come :)

2015 Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!

Hi Coffee Lovers!! I had to be a part of this awesome 2015 Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop for a few obvious reasons... one for the love of coffee, two I had to use a fun Paper Smooches - Cyber Cafe set which I won at the blog of the very amazing Shona Chambers of Twine Around in the last Coffee lovers hop :) (Thank you Shona) and three it's just amazing to see so many talented crafters joining in together and supporting our little creative community :)

Thank you Amy, Chaitali and Kimberly for making this hop such a hit :)
There is a ton of inspiration for all of us :) I will soon be hitting the hop and swoon over all the beauties :)

So here's my card...
To make this card, I took corrugated card stock (from DCWV) panel, Inked it lightly with some distress ink and added some embossing paste for some texturing. I have seen Shari Carroll doing this :) Then I stamped the coffee cup and fuzzy cut it, colored it lightly. Also stamped the leaves (using STAMPlorations Trendy Leaves) with some SSS hybrid inks cubes - Energy (Thank you to my sweet friend!!)
To finish the card, I adhered it all together with some hemp twine :)

I hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)
