To make this card, I took a panel of white card stock and inked it on green with maximum intensity at the base. Then I stamped the poppies, and colored them in black to give the illusion of silhouette. To add more interest I cut out the panel into multiple diagonal strips and then laid these on the card base.

Making cards for fun!

Well! today is one for those special days when I got a chance to make cards just to play along a few challenges. I hardly get a chance to play along, the way I used too ;)

My first card uses distress inks and masking, quick and CAS. To make this card, I used a post it note to cut three different wavy shapes to serve as my masks. I took a panel and distress inks and inked these with variation on intensity of the inks while masking simultaneously.
I am sharing this at CASology Week 134 - Monochrome, AAA card challenge #33 - Orange and Stamping Royalty #267 - Photo Inspiration

Then I created another card. Here I was inspired by a few challenges and also one of the designs from fabulous Therese Calvird from one of her cards HERE. She is just amazing... I am always inspired by her :) Thank you for all your awesome videos and amazing inspiration :) In my card instead of stamping on the base, I used some patterned paper panel :)

I am sharing this card at Curtain Call Photo Inspiration - Donut Delight, As you see it Challenge #74, Freshly Made Sketches #174 and ATSM #132 - Make your Mark

CAS-ual Friday's Stamps Feature - Building backgrounds with your dies!

Hello friends!! Today I am here for CAS-ual Friday's Stamps  feature post. For this post I am showcasing different ways to use your dies to build backgrounds :)

I have created these cards using the CAS-ual Friday's Funky Square Tag Fri-Dies and CAS-ual Friday's Heart Board Fri-Dies. Besides these, I used Shuffle Fri Dies and Beanstalks, In the cards stamp sets to finish my cardsHere is a look into my cards...

To make these card, I took the die as a guide to trace the number of die cuts I would need to cover my panel. I then cut these dies and inked them in different shades of Distress ink, then I laid them all on the panel. To finish the card, I added the sentiment. You can also work with colored papers/ patterned paper or use different dies to create variations :)

It was fun creating these cards, I hope I was able to inspire you.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)
