CAS-ual Friday's Stamps Feature - Using tiny images!

Hello friends!! Today I am here for CAS-ual Friday's Stamps  feature post. For this post I am showcasing a fun and creative way to use those tiny little images in your stamp sets :)

I have created these two cards by using the Lovely greetingsStar Fri-dies and Sassy Smiles stamp sets. Here is a look into my projects...

To make the first card I used the tiny little flower and stamped it to create banners. and on the second card, I used the star die to create a mask and stamped the same flower multiple times to finish the card. I am sharing the closeups because I recently bought my very first Wink of Stella and I am totally in love with it.

It was fun creating this set, I hope I was able to inspire you.

Big News! My very first stamp design :) and a GIVEAWAY!

Hello dear friends! I have been keeping a secret from all of you for a while now, though it was hard to keep a secret but it has pushed my excitement to the moon :)

I am an illustrator now! Yippee :) Today at STAMPlorations blog we are revealing my own line of designs Dee's Artsy Impressions. The thought is still sinking in....

I want to share a little story about my designing :)

"Though I don’t have a memory of being a good artist from my kindergarten time but when I see the notes from my teachers I believe that I had some drawing skills right from the start. I guess I owe this to my father, he is a great artist only that he never took it seriously ;) I am glad I got his genes LOL.
Moving on… later in the years, I developed pencil sketching as a hobby. But, then I had my studies and a career to work on. So it took a back seat! It was after marrying and moving to USA that I had plenty of time and support from my husband to get back to my hobby.
Little did I knew that I will end up being passionate about card making and one fine day due to some kind of a magic spell… Shery Russ [The owner/ illustrator of STAMPlorations] will reach out and ask me “If I would like to design stamps?” What??!!? I mean what just happened here, I was in disbelief. How did she know that I could design stamps? It seems she has some special powers!!
Though I was in disbelief, I clearly remember reaching out to my note pad and scribbling a few stamp designs and the rest is history! Here I am today sharing my little story.

I want to thank Shery for bringing me on board and I want to thank her sister for designing such a stunning logo for my Stamp line:) and now I am excited to know what you think about my design??

My very first illustration will be available as "Blooming buds" stamp set. Here is the preview

And of course I had to make some cards to showcase this set :)

My first card is water colored and second is embossed and colored with markers :)

To make this, I took a water color panel, added brush strokes with Twinkling H2O, took a kraft panel of the same size and die cut it 5 times with stalk up Fri-dies. Adhered it all together and to finish the card, I stamped the sentiment.
