STAMPlorations Sticker Monday - April 27th 2020

Hello friends! I am back with the special "Sticker Monday" posts. I will be sharing various styles of cards and also various ways you can use the Clear Stickers on your cards :) I am so loving the stickers. Every month, we'll draw one lucky crafter to win a $15 gift code -- randomly drawn from all comments left on the Sticker Monday posts at the STAMP blog for the month, as well as from my blog.

Today I am sharing cards I made using a Christmas Sentiment Sticker set "Merry - Clear Stickers"

Let me show you the cards I made... I decided to work with traditional Christmas colors for my cards Red, Green and Kraft :) I also wanted to work with one stamp set "Layered Holly" and use to create three different designs or layout.

So for my first card, I took a kraft panel and stamped the solid holly image all over along with the berries.

I overlapped the leaves and also added berries. I did not stamped the line image of the leaves here otherwise it would have taken the focus away from the sticker. I also added to splatter.

For my second card, I die cut the gift [Gift Builder #1] from the kraft panel and used the negative space to add my sentiment sticker. Here I stamped the holly along the lower edge :)

To add more interest I added some splatter and also the line stamp images :)

For my third card, I decided to use the positive die cut of the gift die and added sentiment on it. Here I stamped the holly to build around the sentiment.

Ideally I would use some dimension but because mailing flat cards is easy so I chose to keep it simple.

I hope you like the cards I created and that I inspired you to try stickers on your projects.

Today I am sharing the cards I created featuring the newest collection Whimsical and Wild by Jane Davenport I absolutely love these sets because of the unique sketchy designs and of course whimsical is always awesome. I have created cards featuring the sets "Elephant dream" and "Horse Hug"

This set just shouted out to use bright colors :) I stamped and fuzzy cut the images. I colored them with Prisma Color Pencils. For my background I used Distress oxide inks for ink blending. I also did some tone on tone stamping using the feather stamp to build the background.  I added a black splatter and stamped the sentiment to finish my card.
Here is a closeup...

For my second card, I used the "Horse Hug"  set
For this card I wanted some gold, so I heat embossed the images in gold. I did water coloring. I added some gold splatter to finish. Water coloring was done using Gansai Tambi Water colors
Here is a closeup into my card...

STAMPlorations Sticker Monday - April 13th 2020

Hello friends! I am excited to be doing the special "Sticker Monday" posts for next three months.

Today I will be focusing only on one "Birthday Word Art - Clear Stickers" I love these stickers because of the unique fonts and style in each sticker. Let me show you the cards I made...

So for my cards, I wanted to work with kraft base and add colors to make for my happy and colorful birthday cards. I picked Balloons, Banners and Candles for the three cards.

I stamped the balloon stamp the opposite solid side using Distress Oxide inks, with some masking I built the background. I also shaded the balloons inking them with my finger. I added some pearl white splatter and sticker to finish.

For my second card, I used a solid banner stamp to build my background. I also added some confetti stamping.

To add more interest I stamped and fuzzy cut a few banners and adhered as the focal image over the sticker art. To finish, I also added splatter and sticker as the focal.

For my third card, I built a candle background using the same color scheme

Here too, I added stamped and fuzzy cut the candles to add dimension to my card. Besides the stickers, I have also used the following stamps Kathryn's Big WishesBalloons and Banners and Party Mates

I hope you like the cards I created and that I inspired you to try stickers on your projects. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

No photo description available.
Let me show you the card I created... I made this card keeping anniversary card in mind :)

To make this card, I took a water color card stock. I stamped the love sentiment on the card stock to make my background with water mark ink. I then heat embossed it in gold. I washed the panel with water and did wet on wet technique using shades of pink red and purple. Once dried, I added some more detail to the background by stamping a damask background stamp. I then worked on building the focal image for this card.

I gold heat embossed the heart along the with sentiment and water colored it. I then die cut little hearts using colored card stocks and adhered it all with some dimension to finish my card. I also added some shimmer using Wink of Stella Glitter pen.

I have used the following products from STAMPlorations Funny Kinda LoveClustered Hearts Die and CAS-ual Fridays Stamps - Mwah stamp set.

SPELLBINDERS - Even More Sentiments April 2020

Hello dear friends! I feel so thrilled to be guesting with Spellbinders again. Today I am sharing the cards I created featuring Even More Sentiments Etched Die Set (April Small Die of the Month Add On) I absolutely love these sentiment dies and I have shown two way to use these dies to make a card set.

Let me show the cards I created :) For my first card, I wanted to create a window with these sentiments...
So I picked up a few related sentiments and die cut those layering them one under the other to make a sentiment window. For the background I did a partial water color wash. To add more interest I also added some die cut flowers and leaves around the window. I added the die cut panel with some dimension.
Here is a closeup...

For my second card, I followed the lead from the first in terms of basic color scheme and florals but this time I used the sentiment positive die cuts.

Here again I did a watercolor wash. I added the die cut sentiment on top along with the floral die cuts. To finish I added sequins too :) Water coloring was done using Gansai Tambi Water colors
Here is a closeup into my card...

I have played with Even More Sentiments Etched Die Set. Along with the new dies I have also used previously released Die D-Lites Tallulah Etched Dies for the florals.
I hope you were inspired by my creations. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)Don't forget to check out the new dies HERE
