ATCAS #82 - Home

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is very talented Barb and she has chosen the code word... HOME. A perfect code word to create a stash of cards for your new neighbors or maybe if you have moved to a new home and you want to inform about your new address, there can also be a completely different interpretation of Home :) Let's see what you will come up with :)
You will win a gift card from our fabulous sponsor Create a Smile stamps
I loved making this colorful home :). Here's my card...
To make this card, I heat embossed the house (using The Bee's Knees - Houses) on a water colored card stock and colored it with Koi water colors. I then fuzzy cut it and adhered it on the card base, To finish the card I stamped the sentiment (using Noteworthy) and added a strip of black paper along the lower edge :)

Our DT has come up with some amazing projects this week. Pop over to our ATCAS challenge blog here and take a peek. I am looking forward to the challenge this fortnight and am very excited to visit your blogs.

Have fun in creating CAS card :) and thank you for visiting my blog.

We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is very talented Bhavana and she has chosen the code word... BLOOM. Huge possibilities with this code word too :) we all love Flowers and with so many stamps and dies out there... we can make so much.

CASEplorations Feb 2016 - Anita in France

Hi friends! Welcome back and wish you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR. Hope you had a creative 2015 and will continue to be even more creative in 2016. Afterall, this is what we want ;)

It's time for CASEplorations inspiration post at STAMPlorations. On the first of every month, the STAMPlorations girls share CASEs of some of our favorite cards - maybe even one of yours. Be sure to stop by the blog  for the very first installment of CASEd inspiration for 2016.  You can find more details HERE.

Our artist for the month of February is the fabulous... Anita of My Papercraft WorldShe needs no introduction, we all love her CAS style :) So let me show you her beautiful card (click HERE to see her original post) and my CASE...
I got inspired by the colors and hearts in Anita's card, here is my card...
I started out by die cutting stitched edge panel of white card stock (using SSS Double stitched rectangle dies), then I created a mask of cloud using ME Cloud die on a post it note and inked the white panel in yellow and pink Distress inks (Squeezed Lemonade and Sugar spun). I then stamped inked and fuzzy cut the heart balloon (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Balloons and Banners). I stamped the hearts on the panel in pink using the same set and the sentiment (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Frames and flowers ) To finish the card I added a die cut sentiment (from SSS) and adhered it all together :)
