SPELLBINDERS - February 2020 Embossing Folders collection

Hello dear friends! I feel so thrilled to be guesting with Spellbinders again. Today I am sharing the cards I created featuring a couple of February 2020 Embossing Folders collection. I absolutely love these cut and emboss folders, they will make for some gorgeous backgrounds for our cards :)

I am featuring the following products Sedona Cut and Emboss Folder and Kyoto Cut and Emboss Folder Let me show the cards I created :)

For this card, cut and emboss the white card stock panel and did some ink blending using Distress Oxide inks. I also added some gold details to the focal part of the fan shaped embossing. To add to the background I die cut a focal piece the bouquet using "Cherish Large Die of the Month Kit" I used the similar color scheme for the bouquet. For the sentiment, I used die cut shapes from a previous released card kit by Spellbinders.
Here is a closeup...

For my second card, I kept the design simple and white with a pop of gold. I cut and emboss the white panel using Sedona cut and emboss folder. I used Water Color Clear stamp set from October 2018 Card kit to make my gold focal piece. I gold heat embossed and fuzzy cut the piece. To finish I added some gold splatter and Celebrate die cut from the same kit.
Here is a closeup into my card...

I have played with Sedona Cut and Emboss Folder and Kyoto Cut and Emboss Folder . You can find a preview to collection in a video HERE.
I hope you were inspired by my creations. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)Don't forget to check out the new collection HERE

STAMPlorations Spotlight - Using tiny stamps!

Hello friends! I am back with another spotlight project for 2020 over at the STAMPlorations blog. I hope I will be able to inspire you. Today I am focusing on making use of the tiny stamp images. I decided to use tiny stamp images to build a bigger image. I made a birthday card using a little floral image. You can make variations to the same by using other images like stars, butterflies, hearts or even snowflakes for a winter card. You can also build some other image instead of a balloon... like a butterfly or a big star. Possibilities are endless. Let me show you...

STAMPlorations February 2020 Release - Day 2

Hello friends! We are continuing the release party fun at STAMPlorations Today is the Day 2 of STAMPlorations February 2020 Release and today we are featuring a stamp set designed by yours truly "Me" called "Leafy" I love leaves and greens, so I had to design a set that would include some of my favorite leaves.

No release is complete without Prizes, so don't forget to hop along and leave comments. Commenting is from February 10 to 19. Winners will be randomly drawn from all comments left on the STAMP blog and designers' blogs. Winners will be announced February 21

Prizes:
- $20 Gift code to ONE (1) commenter randomly drawn from comments left on all the blogs
- stamp set of choice from the new release to ONE (1) commenter randomly drawn from comments left on all the blogs

Let me show you the stamp set Leafy and the cards I made...
I have created quite a few cards, will share more later. For my first card, I had to make an all green card. I heat embossed the leaves on a watercolor card stock and and water colored those. I kept it simple with sentiment and gold splatter.
Leaves don't have to be green always, so I experimented with a grey background along with brown and wine red water colored leaves. For the background I did tone on tone stamping with solid image leaf. Added some white splatter. I then stamped, water colored and fuzzy cut the leaves. Stamped the sentiment and adhered the leaves.

Finally, I would say these days I am kind of addicted to gold embossing. So I went with a completely simple yet elegant design. I took a patterned paper, Heat embossed the leaves on it and also an extra leaf on same paper and fuzzy cut it. I added grunge to the edges of the paper and layered it on gold card stock. Simple and easy.

I hope you enjoyed my creations. I thank my teamies for making such beauties :)

One thing I love about the Layered sets is that they allow us to make quick and beautiful cards. I created two using the set in two different ways...
For this card, I stamped the upper floral part of the set. I then stamped the layered stamp on top. To finish I stamped the sentiment and added some enamel dots. Super fun and easy!
For my second card, I head embossed the line stamp image in gold, along with the sentiment on a water color card stock. I then water colored it. I would say again, I love this set.
