My hundredth post...

Yay!!! I feel great, this is my hundredth post :) and I had to do something different. So, I picked up my craft supplies mainly those which I have not made much use of. So here's my card...

I was inspired by the Sketch at CAS Colors & Sketches and the Mother's Day theme at The Paper Players this week.

To make this card I used my Nestabilities Oval dies, butterfly punch, Rose Stamp from my Garden collection stamps, Memento Dew drop Inks and Archival black ink. The blank space behind the focal oval and the larger oval is filled by vellum. 

I think I did a good job, for my hundredthe post, hope u like it too

Humming birthday wishes...

This is my second card for today and it is inspired by the Seize the Birthday challenge #16  this week and by Lawnscaping challenge #57 - Bling it! 

To make this card, i decided to link up the elements of the sketch and decided to draw a tree branch and a bird. I hand drew the humming bird on a card stock, fuzzy cut it and colored it using my memento dew drop inks. Hand drew and colored the branch and used rub-ons for the flowers. Finally added gem stones to add bling. I have added few pictures that depict the making of the bird :)

Happy birthday...

This is my first post after Friday. Its been long ;) so today, I'll make three posts yay!!! since I have made 3 cards. My appetite for card making never goes down. I am sure it must be the same with all of you.

So this card is an inspiration from three challenges, the concept from CAS-ual Friday's Tic-Tac-Toe challenge CFC 100, the colors from The Play Date Cafe Challenge #180 - Color Splash and A blog named Hero Challenge #23 - All that glitters. From the Tic-Tac-Toe I used, punches + letters + black & white.

Here's my card.

To make this card, i used my alphabet stencils, hand drew the butterfly trail and punched butterflies from metallic sheets to add the glitter, I purchased fro my local craft store.

I am sooooo excited, I recently joined the team at PaperieDesigns' Studio and every Friday we do a feature called Fascinating Friday's to throw spotlight on the crafting / artistic talent of a blogger. Because I care...

My "because I care..." card is inspired by the Casology Challenge #42 - CARE. There was only one idea that clicked my mind the moment I saw the challenge and I made this card :)

Everything about this card is handmade :) I hand drew the heart on white card stock, cut it out. Then hand drew the hands of a man holding that of a child. I colored the background in memento inks. To place this heart on the card base, I cut a small semi circle like piece to slide in my heart through it and added the sentiment over that white strip.
