Pastels - At the sunset

This one represents a lady who is saddened by her life...
Hope u like it.

We fit together for Casology: Game

Well, well... my second card for the day. I just couldn't resist myself and made another card for the Casology challenge this week.
As compared to the previous one this one is clean and simple and describes puzzle pieces fitting together. Colors chosen are symbolic :)

The challenge given Casology Week 29:GAME

Hope u enjoy this card :)

Pastels - Sadness...

Sketching is most satisfying thing for me. Every time I make a new sketch I feel happy n alive :)
Somehow, pastels are fun working with, mostly because they blend so easily. I recommend all artists to definitely try soft pastels :)

Hope you will enjoy :)

We fit together...

"We fit" is my card that I have made in shades of brown. It's a fun card n I enjoyed making it. The focal point of the card is the puzzle pieces in the center that indicate that they fit together like any two people would who are in love.

I want to play this card for the following three challenges as it has all the components of these challenges, namely, the Cue: Game (here its puzzle), the duo color  and the Mojo Monday Pattern

Blossoms...

" Blossoms" is my today's creation :), It is a representation of colors in anyone's life, from happiness to sorrow. My card is an inspiration from the Runway Inspired blogspot this week's challenge.

My card "Blossoms" is the best representation of the Runway inspired challenge Ric#28- Carolina Herrera that I could portray through my card. I have taken colors as a source of inspiration. In this card I pencil sketched the flowers n the polka dots, I then water colored using the image inspiration

The challenge Image is shown here -

Hope you enjoy this card :) I look forward to more such inspirations from Runway Challenge.

Birthday Muse...

Here is yet another birthday card by me. Paper crafts are so addictive, I just can't stop thinking n imagining about how to create my next project :)

The "Birthday Muse" card has been inspired by Muse Challenge #1, posted by Muse Card Club
It is fun playing these challenges...

Monday Muse, Amy Kolling

In the Monday Muse by Amy Kolling, I was inspired by the diagonal lines in the background and decided to bring them upfront in my card. I used card stock in my stash of various colors, cut them into strips of different thickness n stuck them diagonally on my card base. Rest is further an inspiration from Amy Kolling's creation.

Hope u enjoy this card, also this is my first entry at the MUSE :)

It's a girl...

Arrival of girl child in a family calls for celebrations. My "It's a girl" card shows a baby girl being welcomed into a beautiful world of flowers.

I am playing this card as my entry for the following two challenges

1.  "The Play Date Cafe"
PDCC 165

I have chosen rose color as an indication of arrival of a girl child. I have incorporated all the elements shown in image of challenge. Flowers, fan in the wheels of strollers, bling, butterflies n balloons. I have also followed the color scheme of plum, mustard n rose.

2. CASE study challenge CSC #124 CASE study

The flowers n the colors used in the card are an inspiration from the image shown in case study challenge # 124. I am playing along for the first time at the Case Study :)

Hope you will enjoy :)

Long for you...

Dear bloggers n crafters, I have created yet another card, "Long for you..." as a part of CAS-ual Fridays, http://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.com/ weekly challenge.

CFC86: Create a CAS card that has one long side and one short side.
3 x 6, 4 x 8, etc. No standard A2's for this week.

So as the challenge demands, I have followed the guidelines of a long and short creating a 3 x 6 Clean and Simple card.
The concept of "CAS-ual FriDaYS",  is very interesting as it adds new challenges in ur projects keeping the core focus of Clean n Simple CONSTANT.

Hope u enjoyed my card :)
