STAMPlorations TYPOGRAFIA MOTIVATE Blog Hop !

Welcome friends! This is a super special post as we begin STAMPlorations TYPOGRFIA MOTIVATE Blog Hop. We are introducing some amazingly awesome Typography Stamps. I mean you are going to love them and when you look at the variety... you would want to have them all.

I like these stamps specially because they are complete in themselves, allows me to make cards quickly and create some fun backgrounds to go with them :) The quotes in the motivate series are fabulous :) The hop has a few stops, so if you want to win these awesome stamps don't forget to leave a comment at every stop :) Don't forget to go HERE

Prize:
One commenter will win her choice of 3 Typografia Motivate stamps. The winner will be randomly drawn from all comments left on the STAMP blog and participating designers' blogs.

Commenting closes on Monday, August 28 and Winner will be announced on Tuesday, August 29.

Let me show you the cards I created with these stamps...
As the stamp says rainbow, I had to make a rainbow but instead of going with traditional inking, water coloring etc I used a stencil to make the rainbow, every flower was masked and inked to create the rainbow. The stamp was stamped on top and adhered on a fog card base.

For my second card, I kept it pretty simple by stamping floral design in a colored ink and coloring it in same color for a subtle background. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment and added a few sequins.

These are so much fun and look at the numerous possibilities you have with these :)
I hope you had fun, check the STAMP blog and hop along. Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

Let me show you the cards I created with this set...
For my very first card I dis some inking to create my winter sky, stamped some trees and went over with white gel pen for the snow of trees, then I die cut the plate die, kept all the pieces together for my inlaid look. I used foam sheet for layering. To finish I added the snowman on top.
For this one too I did in laid die cutting but added no dimension. I simple water colored a piece and used the positive to inlay into the negative tree die cut on kraft. Layered this with patterned papers to finish my card.
These baubles called for a metallic and dimensional look. For that I cut the dies using gold foil card stock and also die cut foam sheet for adding dimension. To finish I added these with gold string on a patterned paper.
For my final card, I turned the snow angels into ornaments and gave the look as if they are hanging from the Christmas tree by stamping some pine needles along the top edge of wood grain patterned paper. I also embossed these with an embossing folder :)

Hope you enjoyed it, don't forget to leave a comment :) Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment!

Let me show you the cards I created with this set...
I wanted to focus on the image and kept my design pretty simple. Took some patterned papers and taking cues from the striped colorful paper, I colored my reindeer. assembled it for a simple look.
For this one I was inspired by a color palette I saw and also did some color blocking technique with papers to make my base. I then heat embossed the deer in gold and embellished it with die cut flower and leaf, oh and yes I also did a splatter of gold :)
For my third card I did  some water coloring. and made a focal image, embellished with some twine and wood veneer trees :)
Final design is also Clean and simple. I stamped the image and sentiment in black, used some post-it notes for masking and inked the triangle representing a tree :) to finish I adhered a striped patterned paper. I have so many ideas in my head with this set, can't wait to share them in future :)

Hope you enjoyed it, don't forget to come back tomorrow for yet another new set :)

STAMPlorations Spotlight - Blossom Sprays

I am super excited about this post, for one I will be showcasing my newest Floral series "Blossom Sprays" under my stamp line Dee's Artsy Impressions that were recently launched on STAMPlorations 4th Birthday and two I have loads of inspiration for you. Don't forget to leave a comment here and at the STAMPlorations Blog for your chance to win :)

I have been into flowers from my childhood, so when I was designing these, it was pretty easy, it was as if my pencil for moving on it own :) haha Anyways, let me show you the three sets... Blossom Sprays #1, Blossom Sprays #2 and Blossom Sprays #3
preview-blossomspray1preview-blossomspray2preview-blossomspray3
and now the cards I created using these ... I have tried to make as many styles as possible and then there is so much more that you can do with these :)
To make this card, I first stamped the image and created a mask. I then stamped the image multiple times on white panel. I was not to concerned about perfect masking, some things can overlap. I then colored this with my Spectrum Noir markers :) To finish the sentiment was placed on a black panel. Even the background was colored with markers :)
For the second card, I stamped the image twice on a A2 size white panel and fuzzy cut it. I then colored it with markers and adhered it on card base which was lined with corrugated paper :) To keep it simple I adhered a die cut sentiment :)

For my next set of cards, in this one I stamped the image on wood grain patterned paper and colored it with Prisma Color pencils :) I kept it simple by making this image the focal :)
In this card I stamped the image along the edge of the water color panel and water colored it :) I wanted the background to be black. I did a little something extra for the velvet texture of the black background :) Once your water colored background is dry, use a Prisma color pencil to color it and then blend it with Gamsol :) Another  one layer card :)

For my final set of cards, I had to do no line water coloring... how can I do a post with so many cards and not include a no line water colored piece hahaha :) so below is that one. Coloring was done using Gansai Tambi Water colors.
In this card I sort of did some spotlighting by stamping the image on kraft panel and then stamping it again on white panel, coloring some of that image, cutting it and then adding on the white panel with some dimension :) The coloring was done with Prisma Color Pencils.
That brings an end to this post, I hope you enjoyed all of my creations :) there will be more in future ;) so keep looking.
And I am so excited to see what you have made with these, if you already have one :) So, please share your creations on Instagram by #deesatrsyimpressions.
