STAMPlorations Spotlight - Christmas cards!

Hello friends! I am up with a spotlight project over at the STAMPlorations blog. I hope I will be able to inspire you. With Christmas closing in, we have to build our Christmas stash. I decided to make two cards, making use of both positive and negative pieces from die cutting. I have used "Holiday Words Plate Die"  as the star of my cards :) I made one into a shaker and for the other I used the die cut sentiment as the background. Let me show you...

SPELLBINDERS - Holiday 2019 Collection by Sharyn Sowell

Hello dear friends! I feel so thrilled to be guesting with Spellbinders again. Today I am sharing the cards I created featuring some of the dies from the newest Holiday 2019 Collection by Sharyn Sowell. I absolutely love the dies, they will make for some gorgeous Christmas cards :)

I am featuring the following products Shapeabilities Peace On Earth Etched DiesWinter Friends Etched Dies and  Love Came Down Etched Dies. Let me show the cards I created :) I kept the basic design concept same... I wanted inked backgrounds for all my designs :)

For this card I die cut the focal pieces from white card stock. For my background, I took grey card stock and inked it with darker shades of grey and black. I also added a splatter of white pigment. I also added a pop of red on the die cut and also some red sequins.
Here is a closeup...

For my second card, I masked the lower edge and inked the panel with some Distress inks to make for a winter sky, I then added the die cut pieces with some dimension. To finish I accented with snowflake embellishments and also Wink of Stella on white die cut pieces :)
Here is a closeup... can you see that shimmer :)

For my final card, I wanted to make an aura around the baby Jesus, so the inking was done accordingly. I then added splatter and embellished with gold sequins and Wink of Stella shimmer :)
Here is a closeup...
