Hello friends and welcome to the month of May where we at STAMPlorations are celebrating "Things with Wings" For the Inspiration post as well we are focusing on using products like birds, butterflies, etc for our focal point. There are loads of prizes to be won, so comment and play along by creating a Things with Wings project inspired by one or all of our challenges :)
Throughout the month, all our winged-themed products will be 15% off -- no coupon needed. With my DT code, STAMPGIRLDEEPTI you can get an extra 20% off.
For my card, I wanted things to be simple with bird being the focal.
To make this card, I stamped the floral image on a grey card stock. I stamped the image again to cut out the flower to add dimension. I then die cut the bird from glossy card stock and colored it with alcohol inks. I then layered it all together. To bind with the blue I added a strip of patterned paper at the base and some sequins.
I have used Blossom Sprays #3, Birthday Bash (coming soon) and For the Birds dies.

Absolutely stunning and so eye catching. What a unique and creative idea to colour the bird and leave the pretty stamped flowers without colour....love it x
