SPELLBINDERS - Flourished Fretwork by Becca Feeken

Hello dear friends! I feel so thrilled to be guesting with Spellbinders again. Today I am sharing the cards I created featuring the newest collection Flourished Fretwork by Becca Feeken I absolutely love these die sets because of the all the intricacies and layers of die cutting that can lead to making of a variety of designs. I have created cards featuring the sets "Shapeabilities Oval Coronet Etched Dies Flourished Fretwork" and "Shapeabilities Fluted Tracery Etched Dies Flourished Fretwork"

Let me show the cards I created :) For my first set of cards, I used the "Shapeabilities Oval Coronet Etched Dies Flourished Fretwork" set. Initially I did not decide to make two cards but as I was die cutting, I realized I could make two designs using a combination of these dies.

Cards are simple to make, with diecutting using a bunch of patterned papers that work together and putting them together.
Here is the duo...

For my second card, I used the "Shapeabilities Fluted Tracery Etched Dies Flourished Fretwork"   set. I wanted to combine some alcohol ink background with die cut pieces. So I created two different backgrounds using a combination of inks.

I die cut the intricate dies using some glitter card stock and I wanted the background to be muted so I added a vellum layer. To add more interest I added some die cuts that some with Spellbinders Club Kits.
Here is a closeup into my cards...

I have played these sets "Shapeabilities Oval Coronet Etched Dies Flourished Fretwork" and "Shapeabilities Fluted Tracery Etched Dies Flourished Fretwork"  Besides the new dies I have also used Die D-Lites Tallulah Etched Dies and  Cherish Large Die of the Month Kitfor the florals, die cuts from October 2018 Card Kit. For the sentiments I used STAMPlorations Better Together
