All will be toad...

It took me awhile but finally I nailed it :)

The color challenge at Less is More Week 114 - Lime & Black this week kept me thinking...

I thought about flowers, lime and combining it with other challenges but nothing worked. Today in the morning, I did a brain storming on things that r green in color and then Toad hit me ;)

Rest all I needed was execution. So I hand drew my toad, colored and cut it. Stuck eyes  to my toad. Also, found this cute quote online on Google search :) and created a parking sign :) Finally stuck all the elements together and added the sentiment.

Hoot hoot hooray...

My 'Hoot hoot hooray' card is inspired by the Sketch at (CAS)e this sketch! Challenge #22

To make this card, I decided to coordinate the elements of the sketch together, hence the tree trunk and the owl came together. I hand drew n hand cut the owl and the tree, colored them. I also used my Nestablities Oval die to cut out a hole in the trunk. Finally, I added the eyes to the owl which I recently purchased at my local craft store Pat Catan's :) I added leaves and the sentiment :)

Sailing hello...

My 'Sailing hello' is the card inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #80 - Sketch by Linda C. challenge this week and the colors at CAS Colors and sketches #19 challenge.

So to make this card, I took out felt from my stash to coordinate with the colors in the challenge and created a sail boat by fuzzy cutting the felt pieces to match the elements on the sketch. To further coordinate with the sketch I created the sun n the the birds :)

Thus creating a scene at the ocean :)

Floral creations...

My "Floral creations" are handmade flowers created by my using readily available things. I want to enter this for the Moxie Fab World's - Handmade Home decor - Summer Week  and  Spring Week

My Floral creations is an expression of the crafty me, the first two pictures show the flowers made from paper napkins that we use on a daily basis. The beauty lies in the whole package, I made big and small paper napkin flowers, painted them in different ways. they were then attached to twigs I collected at a metro park.

My 3rd picture showcase the use of painter's tape available in any regular grocery store. This is very interesting n fun way of making quick flowers. The use of wire with the tape, enables easy movement n shaping of the flowers :)

Twigged...

My "Twigged" wall decor is my entry for the Moxie Fab World's - Handmade Home Decor - Fall week challenge :)

The first picture of a wall decor is an up cycle crafty creation. To create this, I have used an old frame the glass of which had once broken. I have used twigs that I collected at a metro park and colored paper for origami butterflies.

The twigs that were painted with acrylic paints n coated with gloss varnish which gives this wall decor a perfect look. This wall decor is an ensemble of twigs n paper in the right manner n right style.
