Fusion #23

Hello friends!! time for another Fusion :) I hope you enjoyed playing along with Halloween theme in the previous challenge. Our new challenge is so pretty and gives so many ideas for fabulous designs.  Now let's see what will you make this time ;)  So here's the Fusion inspiration n sketch for you...
FUSION is a very interesting, it gives us a photo and a sketch, so possibilities are endless with the freedom given in the challenge. You can just work with the sketch or just photo, in my case I went with the photo inspiration. So here's my card...
To make this card, I used a stencil sent by my sweet friend Loll of Stamping with Loll. I lais the stencil on water color panel and dabbed it with Peacock feather distress ink. Then I water colored the entire BG creating an ombre effect. Finally, I laid of the die cut pieces along with some gold twine and a pearl pin to finish my card I am linking this up to the following challenges AAA Cards Challenge - Water colorsCatered Crop - Gratitude Attitude Recipe SwapVirginia's view #9 - Metallic and Showcase your style #1 - Twine, white and sentiment

STAMPlorations Bi-Weekly Sketch Challenge #23

Hi friends! Its time for a new sketch challenge at STAMPlorations Bi-weekly Sketch Challenge #23. This challenge ends on November 14th and the winners would be announced on November 16th. We have a very talented Guest Designer Ingrid joining us for this challenge. She makes amazing cards and her mixed media cards are simply mind blowing. You can check out more of her creations at her blog Ingrid's Craft Corner

Let's get to the sketch and my card...
To make this card, I used Vignette Retro Mod shapes and Trendy feathers. I stamped the rounded square shape in yellow and orange ink to create a subtle gradient. Then I die cut the sentiment through the stamped images and layered it multiple times, adhered it back. I heat embossed the feather on vellum, fuzzy cut it and layers it with some burlap twine and sequins on card base.  I am linking this at Time Out Challenge #17 - Inspired by wordsThe Card Concept #22 - Thank FallCure for the Monday Blues challenge #33 and Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes!

Yay!! Guest Designing for The Alley Way Stamps :)

Hello friends!! I am so excited to be the Guest Designer for The Alley Way Stamps for the month of November :) I love their sweet and cute stamps. They are perfect to create the kind of cards/ projects which are sure to make you smile.

Today I have created a card using the Monster Mash and Petal pushers Stamp set. I had so much fun in creating it. The idea focuses on the sentiment "imaginary friend" which I have depicted on my card as ghost images of the monsters :)
To make this card, I went with an under water scene. I masked one of the monster and stamped the rest in Grey ink. I masked one of the focal monster and inked the card base with distress inks. I also stamped one of the monster image to create the rocks. I stamped the under water plants using the Petal pusher set. Then colored the focal monster and also lightly colored the rest of the invisible monster in grey.  Finally I took a torn strip of vellum, heat embossed the sentiment and adhered it on the panel.

Please visit TAWS blog :) and I will be back soon with another fun creation with these stamps.

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment.

Prizes:

I used the beautiful bells from STAMPlorations Holiday Sketches - Christmas Bells to create this card...

To make this card, I took a panel and die cut it with PPP stitched border die, then I scored it and swipes the ink pads to create a wood grain effect. On the card base I stenciled some embossing paste to create snow. I stamped fuzzy cut and colored the bells. Die cut some foliage and adhered it all on the card base.
