Fusion #21

Hello friends!! time for another Fusion :) I hope you enjoyed playing along with our bright and bold sunflower challenge. Our new challenge is sure to make you happy. Now let's see what will you make this time ;)  So here's the Fusion inspiration n sketch for you...
FUSION is a very interesting, it gives us a photo and a sketch, so possibilities are endless with the freedom given in the challenge. You can just work with the sketch or just photo, in my case I went with the photo inspiration. So here's my card...

To make this card, I was inspired by the white daisies. I heat embossed the daises with clear embossing powder on a water color card stock. I also heat embossed the sentiment in black and then water colored it with Distress inks to create this scene. I am linking this up to the following challenges AAA Cards Challenge #23 - Water colors, Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - WatercolorRetrosketches #135 - Pick your sketch (I picked sketch #47) and Keep it simple #50 - Three

There is a lot more inspiration available for you by our lovely team. Go and check out :) Also, for more details about the challenge please visit Fusion Card Challenge

I was sort of in a water coloring mode while making my DT card and ended up creating another one.

To make this card, I clear embossed the canning jar on water colored card base. Stamped the hearts and water colored the card with distress inks. I am sharing this with  Catered Crop - Seeing red recipe SwapCurtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Smooch, Virginia's View Challenge #8 - CAS and Moxie Fab World - Cool Canning Jar challenge

We have a very talented Guest Designer Elaine joining us for this challenge. She makes amazing cards. You can check out more of her creations at her blog Craft-E-Place

Let's get to the sketch and my card...
To make this card, I stamped the sentiment dream from Subway Art Builders - DARE on a white card stock, then masked off the card base to create my focal scene. I also added a mask to create the moon. I did some inking, water stamping and hand drawing of the birds to create my scene. To finish the card I stamped and fuzzy cut the feather from Trendy feathers in the same color. I am entering this card to a few challenges - Virginia's View Challenge #8 - CASA Gem of a challenge #129 - CASWord Art Wednesday #152 - Anything Goes!

ATCAS #49 - Stencil & WCMD 2014

Happy World Card Making Day!!! Enjoy crafting :)
We are back with a new challenge at Addicted to CAS . This time the host of the challenge is Kylie and she has picked a wonderful code word for you... STENCIL. I really enjoyed playing with this code word, stencil is the hot trend these days and I have been hoarding quite a few. This challenge gave me an opportunity to make use of them :) Also, I would like to welcome a super talented and extremely creative Guest Designer Hannelie. Her creative style is unique and involves a lot of pretty die cut creations. You can see her projects by clicking here, Desert Diva
Our winner will win an awesome prize from our amazing sponsors StampArt Designs. I am sure you love their digi stamps :)
Here's my card...
To make this card, I did some sponging through the number stencil. Next I die cut the witch, the bats and letters for the sentiments. I took a strip of kraft card stock, added a washi tape and scored it. Then I did some fan folding along the scored lines to give the look of corrugated paper. I also cut out a strip of same pattern paper that I used to cutting the bats. Then I adhered it all on the card base.  I am sharing this card with House of Cards October Challenge - Punches and/or DiesColor Throwdown #312 and Freshly made Sketches #156  . I am also linking this to World Card Making Day Blog Tour :)

Our DT has come up with some amazing projects this week. Pop over to our ATCAS challenge blog here and take a peek. I am looking forward to the challenge this fortnight and am very excited to visit your blogs.

Have fun in creating CAS card :) and thank you for visiting my blog.

STAMPlorations - October Challenge STAMPS & EMBOSSING

It's time for the monthly challenge at STAMPlorations - STAMPS & EMBOSSING :) so all you need to do is use a stamp and embossing! The embossing can be heat or dry. This challenge ends on October 31st, so you will have plenty of time to play along, The winners for this challenge will be announced on Novemver 5th. I would also like to welcome our Guest Designer Virginia I am sure you know her already, she creates some of the prettiest cards. Her designs are beautiful and the way she adds color to her deisgns is simply incredible. You will love what she created for this challenge. Now let me show you what I created...

So that's my card using Stamps and heat embossing plus dry in the form of scoring. To make this card, I scored vertical lines across the card base and then I took a water color panel and stamped the trees from Vignette: Tree Silhouettes in Versamark ink and heat embossed them with Clear embossing powder. Next I added water and introduced Distress inks to create the washed BG. To finish my card I heat embossed the sentiment on black card stock banner and adhered it on the panel. I am sharing this at one of my fave challenge, I was a DT there but unfortunately due to too many assignments, I stepped down. But that will not stop me to play along with them :) CSCC #8 - One card, one stamp set, 613 Avenue Create #91 - Anything Goes!Simon Says Monday Challenge - Finishing Touch
