Hi friends, with Father's Day right around the corner, I had to make these cards to send them out to India one for my father and one for my father-in-law :) It usually takes 10-15 day's to reach, I am keeping my fingers crossed that they receive it on time :)
So before working on my card, I went over the blog land to see if I could get some inspiration from the challenges and yes of course I did!! The challenges are really helpful when I comes to designing my card :) So, here's my first card...
Inspired by the following challenges -
To make this card, I took a diagonal striped pattern paper and cut it out and scored, folded and glued it to create a gift box, coz when I read ribbon a gift box struck my head. Added ribbon just the way we wrap a gift box. Then further embellished it with die cut alphabets and an anchor. Stamped the sentiment across the edge to finish my card :)
For my second card I was inspired by a few challenges again :)
2. Color Q #243
I created my chalkboard on a black card stock by heat embossing the banners in white. then brushed some white ink to give a chalkboard look, stamped around with a border stamp to make the frame. Then I stamped and colored the banners on the card base to add interest. To finish, I added the die cut alphabets, stamped the sentiment and embellished it with the star pin.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)
