To make this card, I stamped and watercolored the balloons and when the card stcok dried I stamped the confetti in gold Delicata ink. Also added the gold twine on one of the balloons. The sentiment is from Balloons and banners set

Wohoo! It's party time at STAMPlorations as we celebrate the 3rd birthday of STAMPlorations with STAMPlorations 3rd Birthday Blog Hop. Time flies, it seems like yesterday when I joined the awesome company and how I have grown here from a card maker to a stamp designer :) So this Hop is soooooo very special, for one it's the 3rd birthday, two we are launching another set designed by me and three STAMPlorations is also launching a new product "Cutplorations", the dies we all love.

The set that I have designed is very special, coz when I was designing it I wanted to dedicate this one to our little Stamp baby, Kathryn...Shery's little one :) "Kathryn's Big wishes" She is so adorable and I thought she has to have a stamp in her name :D And now for the hop details and prizes.

Now let me show you the card I made, there are more to come... this stamp set will give u multiple design opportunities :) to create a variety with one single set.

To make this card, I did some stamping of the candle on the water color paper and water colored these. I also added Kathryn's stamp on to the card, the dress of hers is paper pieced to go with the card base of polka dot pattern. Oh and yes! this set comes with its coordinating dies :) all the more fun !! Hope you like it!

Let me show you my third Inspiration card for June 2016...

To make this card, I heat embossed the floral stem n sentiment (using Smile set) in gold embossing powder and then did a water color wash on it. Next I layered this piece on patterned papers.

Siddharth's First Father's Day!!

I can't tell you how excited I am to finally write a post that is about things in my life :) As most of you know... I was in the family way and our baby was expected in January :) Well he arrived into our world on the 29th of January 2016. Ever since our lives have not been the same :)

And today when we look back, it seems like yesterday. He is 4 months already, time has flown by so fast :) I have to thank all my blog friends for sending awesome cards to welcome my little one. I felt so loved, more and separate post on thanking you will come soon :)

But for now, I want to share a card that Siddharth will give to his awesome Dad. Vikas has been an amazing father from the day he arrived :) and let me tell u Sid is nuts about him. The smile on his face when he sees him in the evening is incredible :) Wow that bond is so amazing to look at. Vikas has been wonderful in providing the best for Sid and the best in playing with him.

Now my card :) I did stamping, masking n coloring to make this card... I have used STAMPlorations Balloons and banners, Chikoo Goes Bananas n Sketchy Alphabets

Let me show you my second Inspiration card for June 2016...

To make this card, I stamped the umbrella (using Friends and Flowers set) in grey ink and colored it with Prisma Color pencils. Then I fuzzy cut it. Next all I did was arrangement of this image on patterned paper with some die cut pieces sent by a sweet friend of mine :)

Let me show you my first Inspiration card for June 2016...

To make this card, I took the feather stamps (using Trendy Feathers - 2) and heat embossed these a little bit off the edge of the panel in white embossing powder. Then I did the emboss resist technique using Distress inks Spiced Marmalade and Picked raspberry. I added the sentiment by heat embossing it on a black card stock.

CASEplorations June 2016 - Shelly Kurth

It's time for CASEplorations inspiration post at STAMPlorations. On the first of every month, the STAMPlorations girls share CASEs of some of our favorite cards - maybe even one of yours. Our artist for the month of  May is the fabulous... Shelly Kurth of Simply Sweet Greetings. She is a very amazing CAS artist, I always love her unique take on designs. So let me show you my CASE of her beautiful card (click HERE to see her original post)

Here is my card...

I started out by die cutting the gold scalloped frame, a circle window on the front panel. I then stamped the flowers and the sentiment (using The Birds and the Blooms) on the card base. Next I colored the images using Prisma color pencils. I was completely inspired by Shelly's card except I used more bold colors than Shelly's softer tones :)
